For the last year and a half, Shuuji has been dating Kawano, but since Kawano got married a while ago, he's been coming by less and less, and when he does show up, they only have quick sex. Still, Shuuji is not so hard up that he would pay any attention to the crazy high schooler he met at the laundromat, no matter how much that kid says he likes him and wants to go out. Not even when the kid goes to ridiculous lengths to convince him of his sincerity. Or?

3) No Place to Go Home to

Hirotomo lives next door, with Katsurou, and while the latter's girlfriend is there, Hirotomo is waiting outside, in the snow. Odagiri feels sorry for him, and takes him out to eat. When they return, Hirotomo shows his gratitude in a rather forward way, and that sets off a strange affair.

4) How Can I smile Tomorrow?
Kikuchi Haruto, who is originally an erotic manga writer took up the chance of drawing gay manga upon the request of his acquaintance. However, he couldn't find any inspiration and when his dateline is about to due, his editor, Samejima came knocking on his door to see if he has finished the manga! Kikuchi explained his situation to Samejima and the calm editor went off for two hours and came back with a young guy! Kikuchi is confused but the confusion will soon turn into shock...

5) I'm Not Going by My Old Name
This story is about Kikuchi Haruto again. Kikuchi has now turned into a full pledge gay manga writer and has lived up to the name of dirty erotic manga artist. While attending a party, Kikuchi was introduced to Nikaidou-sensei who draws 4-panel comics for the news corner. As they were chatting, one of the girls in the party put up a song for Kikuchi to sing, not knowing that he hates karaoke and to avoid singing, Kikuchi ran off to the toilet to take a smoke. All of a sudden, Nikaidou-sensei grabbed Kikuchi and pushed him into one of the cubicles in the toilet! Just what on earth is he planning to do?!

Last two chapters is sad

I feel sorry for Kikuchi. I mean, just when he think he's in love, he couldn't forgive one and the another left just like that. It's like there's no happy ending for him! I thought at least I can see him being all happy in the fifth chapter...but sadly...even so, it's a nice manga. Nice oneshots more like it. Oh, and the sex scene is too hot too!

I didn't expect much of it at first, but then I was really taken in by the stories. They're so emotional, even for oneshots, and each character is really well developped, you can feel for them and get attached to them in just a few pages. They're almost all sad stories, but they're so well done, and they feel so much realistic, it's incredible. There's so much in each story that you don't feel like you've read a oneshot, it's almost as if you've read a whole volume instead.
I have to say that the art isn't really my cup of tea, but stil it fits the ambience and the tone of the stories, and finally I got used to it.
It's the only work of this mangaka I've seen scanlated, I really hope more of her work will be scanlated, cause it's really worth it.

I liked the second story, if was funny and cute. The rest had a more darker ambience, with some aggressive semes. Wanted to beat some of them up D: and I felt soooo bad for Kikuchi T-T we need to find him a nice caring boyfriend >.>
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I wanted him to end up with Samejima but I guess it would be hard to date the person that killed your dad D:

I have mixed feelings about the first one. I hated it, but I also loved it. I just can't stand sad endings, so I even cried reading it. But it's such a beautiful and touching plot!

Second story is really cute! I'm not really fond of Yuuta being a virgin or the enormous age gap (I can't deal with characters THAT young), but the way their relationship was developed in the first place was sweet, so I just ignored the things I didn't like.

As strange as it seems, I didn't mind the age gap on the third chapter, though. I actually thought it was quite cute the way Motoharu's body was so masculine in comparison to Hirotomo's when he's embracing him. But I don't particularly like the seme much.

The fourth chapter was SOOO sexy! I totally loved the whole vouyer thing~! It was my favorite by far! But...the ending was also the saddest I've seen, I think maybe even in a lifetime.
As a result, I didn't like the last chapter, because it showed Kiku's involvment with another guy! I still resented his seme from the previous chapter! And...does he always have a sad ending?! He fell in love both times with people that either left him or he couldn't forgive!

Anyways, over all, I loved the stories, and the characters are damn well-done for a one-shot! I'm not really into the art, but it's not that it's bad, it just doesn't suit my style.
But still, because of the plot, it's probably the best collection of one-shots I've ever read.

I found myself really enjoying this one even though the stories center on the darker side of relationships, some of which did not end up developing further i felt it was quite realistic.

these oneshots are GOOD. i usually don't care for oneshots; there never seems to be enough meat in them, and they leave me feeling empty. but these are a glorious exception. and they're original storylines to boot. the art is amazing in places; interesting angles; strong use of black and white -- especially the first story. why have i not seen more of this mangaka? this is only the second collection of oneshots i've rated a 10; the other one is hybrid child, to put that into perspective.
