Description
From SBM's translation of chapter 1:
"13 years ago, an unknown object appeared at Shinjuku. That creature regularly gives birth to a demon. Therefore, our world is being eaten clean."
The military found a weapon capable of fighting these creatures, a special power known as "exex" that becomes part of the human body.

| The first chapter introduces a lot of information, though it doesn't really ground the context of that information, as well as introducing the characters and starting to develop their relationships. It seems like it might work better as an epic, but it's going too fast, and the characterization and pace aren't as well done as I'd like because of that. There's been a notable amount of plot developments and action already in just the first chapter, but I'm not too into it, although other people might be. The style of narrative is very similar to Ubel Blatt (but, like I said, done in turbo), by the way. It's interesting, in any case. |
