Average, maybe even subpar

This manga is at best average. I couldn't handle more than 20 chapters of this drivel before dropping it. It was amusing the first several chapters, but they never really change what happens, he just gets bullied by his sister and acts like a freaking mega-pussy, the type you'd find in typical shounen harem manga that can't help but blush every time something slightly suggestive happens and certainly the world would end before they stop getting used as a doormat by the girls.

The worst part isn't that the humor is repetitive though, it's that the characters suck. I dislike or hate almost all of them. His sister is one hell of a bastard, she's doing things so extreme with no thought for him to the point where it's not even funny, she's just a b*tch. Even the mc is a moron and I got really sick of his attitude after just a short while. It's to the point where the super lewd masochist that tries to rape the mc all the time is the most likable of the bunch because at least she isn't trying to make a fool out of or hurt him 24/7.

It got to the point where I kinda wished that the mc would commit suicide or at least try and end up in a coma for a few weeks just to see the reaction of that sister of his and for her to realize how much of a bastard she'd been. The only thing this manga focuses on is how to abuse the mc the most, because that's sooooo hilarious and doesn't get old after just a few chapters. How to hurt him the most, while the mc isn't trying to resist at all. This is why I started almost hating manga like "d-frag", because everyone makes it their life goal to be a d*ck towards the mc while the mc doesn't retaliate at all despite being continuously abused. One side is full of bastards while the other one is pathetic.

You easily notice that this manga, despite not being shoujo, IS written/drawn by a female author. The interests cater towards that end of the spectrum, the actions and everything happening is very clearly more likely to be enjoyed by females unless the one reading it hates the mc and wishes for nothing more than his death or is a major masochist.

So, enjoyable for several chapters while it's still somewhat fresh, but it quickly gets old and increasingly annoying for every passing chapter.

By the way, the sequel for this manga is even worse, it even turned into pseudo-hentai.

It starts off as an awesomely funny manga, but for for some reason several parts of this manga are just plain severely depressing. Almost expected a very bad ending, but it ended neutral; I guess. Good premise, could have been better.

at half mark it loses it steam on the comedy part. however it become abit more substantial and their relationship in a firmer footing. there's still a lot of unresolved issues and i think this can go a bit longer but even as it is now is fine. i am fine with the ending, not a concrete resolution, but one can imagine one own's perfect ending

This manga was quite the ride.
It started out pretty funny and wild, then it toned down a bit and evolved into something bigger, developed the characters a bit and ended on a good note. It goes from ecchi to slice of life, to romance, to good things. It's amazing how it evolved.
While the ending wasn't exactly what i was expecting it still was pretty good and it complemented the overall tone of the story.
I recommend it if you're looking for a funny gag manga.

The Premise is Good

but sadly, the story doesn't measure up to what it could've been. A lot of the comedy is cute, but none of the jokes are over-the-top hilarious, making the prime directive of the story pretty much useless. I guess I'd recommend if you wanted some lighthearted love/comedy, but if you're really looking for something captivating, look elsewhere.

This is a very funny manga, with very good art.
The characters are great, I just love the sister.
It's really different from what we usually get. And this manage to do almost everything great.
There is just enough sister/brother love to get interesting, and they cross the line just enough to make things exciting but not as much as it gets kind of creepy like other sibling love mangas (not talking about hentais here).
My only complain, is the ending which is kind of disapointing, it might have been a huge character dvpt flag in pretty much any way the author went... but this one.
Still there is a spin off, and maybe this continues where the main manga left off.
Anyways, I really recomend. This is funny, cute, and a great read. And the sister is probably my favorite character of all time 🙂 .
If I was fair, I'd give this manga a 8.5 or a 9/10 even with that ending. However, because this is my favorite 4koma manga, the sister is my favorite female character of all time, and the manga is just a huge "coup de coeur" for me I'll be biased and give it 10, since I'm not a professional reviewer 😛 .

I don't like ending still overall i give 7/8 cuz i wanted incest not normal sister brother love still not bad read if u like when main protagonist is owned by his sister ... overall nice but last 2 chaps are not needed :]

and without character development it fall too hard, if you're an m you may be able to enjoy it by each chapter since it's basically the same thing. the character art is kinda nice though.

I guess you could say that this series has gone through a few transitions, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. At first it was really raunchy, and then transitioned to a more slice-of-life romance? comedy. And as of now (c21-25), you see the beginnings of a semi-serious plot development. I'm definitely looking forward to what is to come. I agree with auriga that this is a really good 4-Koma. It's helluva hilarious and a good read. You won't get bored.

On one side it's dastardly hilarious, comparable to Imouto wa Shishunki with a sadistic but caring older sister replacing the hopelessly perverted younger sister. And based on the latest chapter (25 as of this posting) it seems we're also getting some plot care of Gorou and Mizuno's relationship.

So yeah, as a 4koma comedy this is top-notch. But the promising development of already lovable characters really takes the cake.
