my heart is bleeding and my soul is dead

This a masterpiece I love every part of it. The art style was so beautiful and the plot was so sad but I love it.
and kuroda past... I think with the extra chapter he can be understood why he is like that. I still dislike him for the cheating. (asshole)

I kinda feel quite depressing while I was reading and I was scared of finished but it worth it. this sensei has all my love.

So sad

But honestly, the most sad story was Kuroda's story. Although it was his fault that everything happened, he lost everything too. And he didn't even obtained happiness unlike Tooru and Katsuya. Plus, he even had a heart disease (forgot what it was lol). It was really sad, honestly. I could honestly say that him hating Tooru was his way of neglecting his feelings for Tooru. But he should know that hating Tooru would make it hard for him to forget Tooru.

Nothing surprising

What was so unexpected about this? This is as clicheed as you can get.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The love interest 'can do no wrong' and thus is always, somehow, innocent. Or they wouldn't be the love interest.
It'd be actually really interesting if he WAS guilty, and they'd have to deal with that. But alas, we have just another boring stereotypical yaoi again.

Not only is the plot predictable and entirely dependent on the typical uke-ish indecisiveness and devotion to abusive exes, but End Game is one of the many, many yaoi out there where the so-called "older uke" looks and acts like he could be the seme's son. Which wouldn't be that shocking, of course, if this uke weren't old enough to be the seme's father.

I won't rate too low because, well, at least it had a plot. (It's really sad how low your standards have to be if you're to enjoy BL/GL at all) But if you'd like to see older uke/younger seme done right, I recommend Sumanai!! Masumi-kun instead.

If there is one thing I detest with yaoi it's when you get to see one guy in the main couple have sex with someone else but you never get to see the main couple do it. The pay offwas a huge disappointment! Apart from that the story is really nice, ignoring some pointless clichés. The characters are enjoyable and Katsuya growing up was my fav parts!
If you want lots of angst with a tiny bit of fluff but don't care if the drama is built well or how it ends this is something for you.

I expected the storyling. However, I didn't expect that
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the guy who claimed to be late mother's friend was actually Tooru-chan's boyfriend. I figured Tooru-chan was covering for someone that he probably had an intimate relationship with.
That's only logical. Anything else this wouldn't have such good ratings, and I'd have a fit. Honestly. though
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I thought Itou-kun would rape Tooru-chan.
It makes things less dramatic then I imagined. I sorta happy i didn't read the categories. I loved it, not at my usual level of angst. It was just as good though.

(Up to Chp 9, is it not completed? or are there one shots? cause it said END at the end of chapter 9)
I'm usually not into drama, but the i really liked the artist style, the drawings were too hard to pass up so i gave it a try, and im really glad i did. I really liked this alot.
I cried a bunch, but the sweetness of the characters (especially tooru) was definitely able to compensate for all.

Ending (not sure if its a spoiler but lets not risk it):

I did not predict the twist at the end, the mangaka really drove you down this lane thinking you had it all figured out but its not the truth. It made me cry even harder.

This unexpectedly became one of my most liked yaoi mangas. It's really sweet and pulled on my heart strings.

OMG! There was that twist that I just did not expect!

The rest I kind of guessed along as hints were provided, but the last one definitely caught me off-guard! o.o
Well, most of Yamanaka's works just leaves you hanging and go ?_?
This one really got me on the edge of my seat. Love it.

(Based on the first 6 chapters)
Aside from a little twist, this is pretty average. If you're just a bit observant, you'll guess the twist within the first couple of pages... The art is cute, but doesn't leave a big impression. I'll keep reading nonetheless.

What a cliffhanger!!

The story was exciting with Katsuya's feelings steadily rising with intensity, almost rage. Seemed like the end of vol. 1 was getting to the climax but was a horrible cliffhanger instead! What a way to leave us hanging! Hope we get to read vol., 2 soon..
