Description
From Tokyopop:
When freshman transfer Mokichi arrives at Swan Academy High, he's got a chance to start over with a clean slate. He's got a plan, too. Kick the butts of the toughest guys in school, prove himself to be the baddest dude around, and run the whole shebang. Problem is, it's his butt that gets kicked that first day. Completely humiliated, Mokichi joins the Wrestling Club in hopes of learning to fight. There he meets unlikely allies, Tamako and Higuchi, two of the hottest battle babes to ever roll their sweaty bods over Swan Academy's gym mats. And Mokichi's gonna need all the friends he can get, what with the likes of the Karate Club looking to "break in" the new kid in the worst way possible.
Like everybody else said, the plot was pretty lacking. Only a bunch of fan service pages combined into a manga. The main character is too weak compare to everyone else. Not to mention how he does not, in anyway, feel like a main character. Oh, and the romance tag is totally misleading. There's really no romance in this manga. Or not one that worth mention at least. The art was nice. The plot wasn't that serious or interesting. The fighting scenes are decent. The ending was... well, there was no ending at all. Oh and, the comedy was pretty funny sometimes.
ha ha ha ha, what the fuck. That was the most insane ending ever, except for to love ru, of course. It seemed like after the last actual arc with the mokuda or whatever her name was, the author just wanted to get some money for what it's worth, or just fill up the remaining pages in the volume. I mean, the last 3 chapters were jackshit, it turned into school life for some reason.
Luckily, there's a second stage, so hopefully there'll be some plo.... stor.... action and fanservice there.
awesome are, the plot is thinly there, character development is overshadowed by the huge (huge, get it?) amount of ecchi and fan service. it's a wtf kind of manga, and the author knows it.
Well... the fanservice is ok, the fights are regular (but the moves are a bit... Fantasy), other thing... they don't go to school? I didn't like this manga caus' the male protagonist only give comments after a fight like welltall said, and this far never get to fight...(Only got his ass kicked by girls... and a panda) I only recommend this because the Fanservice and a bit of Comedy
They should sya from the beginning that this manga is about girls fighting each other. They introduce a stupid protagonist that is hardly involved in any fighting but he says he wants to be in em. Also I see no martial arts. All I see is the usuall strip arm wrestling you see around. For gods sake the protagonist is hardly in the story. He just pops up and makes comments after or before fights or after his ass has been whipped to death. Great drawings but not enough good to keep me reading this unbalanced storyline that makes me wish "Please let the next page be the last of the volume. I give it 6 out of the 10 only because of the artwork and because of its fanservice and nothing else.
