The mankaga is obviously just having a lot of fun writing this series. It shows - seems like something super important will happen? Only for the main to end up chasing around a giant animal or something... and then these situations can transition right over to an incredibly relevant plot point. Which leaves you blindsided, going, wait, what just happened? And why does it matter again?

Which, in my view, makes it closer to FLCL than your typical "badass hero in a video game" story. That's probably why it's been hard for this manga to get a solid scanlator. You could say it's polarizing. But you know what? All the best things are!

Bit of a change of pace since supposedly good guys are bad guys this time and complete noob has an OP class ;p Think art works well in the series lot of people say that art needs be better but there are times when style has to match the character plot.

ex: Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - "Kono Watashi no Mono Tonare, Yuusha yo" "Kotowaru!" by one author vs the author for Maoyuu Maou Yuusha. Same story but different artists, and the first artist style works since he draws them a softer tone which makes it easier to switch to comedy at times

seriously i came in with high expectations but even with a good story and plot it wont save it from its art. i feel its drawn by a kid. they r just too badly drawn. if the artist is able to improve even just abit it would make a decent manga otherwise the art will kill any feelings for u
