Description
Because of his much-too-strict character, the excellent and capable student council president Hayami Reiichirou is often isolated from his surroundings. But things change when, one day, he is forced to take care of a kitten he received from his workaholic mother who divorced his father and left the family long ago. Seeking help from the student council's resident cat-lover, Shiraishi Kotoko, the once stern and unapproachable Reiichirou begins to...?!

While i Loved Bloody Kiss and am somewhat an "Oneshot Freak", I felt this was not only not her best but not good in general.
Skip the Oneshot.

The guy was an jerk to her (But pretended to an nice, princely guy to others UGH!) plus he refused to pose and treated her like an slave, also constantly use her weak spots. it's basically the usual "Guy is cruel but when he isn't one or two times He's not so bad and actually cares" No matter how hot he was, his Rude behavior tainted his looks.
Skip the Oneshot.
I'm not reviewing this as a cat lover; I'm reviewing it as a shoujo fan. And this is good shoujo. Yes, the kitten is cute and yes, the story illustrates the healing power of pets... but this isn't a manga about cats. It's a shoujo manga about a stoic student council president who finds friendship and love all because of a cute kitten that gets thrown into his life.
The volume is cute and sweet, with lots of humor thrown in. There's really nothing here that the average shoujo fan WOULDN'T like. Definitely give it a shot if you're a fan of Furumiya's other works (Bloody Kiss, Kimi to Scandal) or if you like humorous shoujo with likable characters

I picked this up because I'm an animal-lover, and adore seeing how humans with family issues and suchlike are healed by the simple pleasure of owning a pet.
The first chapter fulfilled all my wildest dreams; the kitten was adorable, and watching how her simple, innocent acts softened the strict and uptight Reiichirou was incredibly touching.
And then...in chapter two- things just started to go downhill. The cute little kitten recedes into the background, making fleeting appearances only in one or two pages. The story devolves into some stupid cliched high-school love triangle between Reiichirou, Kotoko and her sis-con elder brother.
I didn't finish the manga, but I won't put this on my 'Unfinished List' or rate it because that will only degrade its stats. I loved the first chapter, so I will do that much.
Really- don't bother to read this if you're a cat-lover. But I think romance fans will enjoy themselves; Reiichirou is quite good-looking and Kotoko very pretty, thereby making them excellent candidates for shipping.
