Description
From FairGame: There is first time at everything, and you don't know anything about it. Not about your partner, not about yourself and even how to advance in love. In a certain port city, energetic high schooler Kana, and firm high schooler Kouki live. Two of them experiencing first time at every thing they do. Author of "Smash!", Saki Kaori presents, Hajimete Datte ba!. A heartful love story has now begun
Started off as a light cute shounen-type romance, but has devolved into typical creepy josei (yes I know it's technically seinen as it runs in Gekkan Young). All the josei tropes so many find repellent are there; the maudlin backstories to explain loutish, rude behavior, emo posturing disguised as character development, statutory rape by boorish older men presented as romance, etcetera...
This story would have been infinitely better had Saki stuck with the original characters.
Takagi's girlfriend is hilarious with her naivete to, well, everything. She may be borderline annoying, but it seems the author isn't making her a complete idiot, emphasized only when a punchline is needed.
Well... What i can say, all the love comedy that the autor wanted to show on smash, its in this manga (so it seems).
Its not a bad thing...actually is kinda nice, but i can see similarities in the mangas. Like the girl has the same personality has the main character of Smash, or like the boy has the same as the same personality as the friend of the main character on smash.
Not new... Not refreshing...But for a light read its ok.
