The first story......mostly in yaoi manga we see through the eyes of the uke,but not here. The uke was a rare kind,manipulative,seducing,lying,older and smart. Kinda makes u love the seme even more!!~ x) and after the two became lovers, it was really interesting too!!~
The second story was.....was so cute, i dunno but the two were adorable!!!!!~
Ah and there were some pages about Okumura's ex, but it was just stupid...BUT at the very end there was shown a cute thing, him getting kissed!!! XD kinda i ended up wondering about him and if he got ever happy xD i mean if he got a serious lover x))

This was surprisingly really funny and I think well done. I thought both stories were really good (although I liked the first story better).The exaggeration was done really well and she knew when to be more serious and when to be lighter. Definitely worth a read!

Okay, first of all I have to press on how I really didn't like the first story, it's such a shallow and cliché read although it didn't seem so at first. As the story progressed it just got worse and worse until there's pretty much nothing to discuss anymore aside from the drawings (especially Okumura's design). The second story is far better in comparison - I've always been a sucker for unrequited love after all, plus the execution is actually not bad, although still somewhat typical for a standard BL story structure. The art here is probably the most significantly redeeming quality for the whole manga, though it's a shame the cover couldn't really advertise how good the artwork inside the book truly is.

Surprised by the Uke

Nice art, fun to read, well builded character, good plot (deep but not too deep). Combine all, It's worth a read and left a nice feeling. Have a laugh and relax.
1st story
I love the uke character, he actually has a regular seme character which make this story standout from others. His apperance is very well done, normally you see the seme drawn like that.
I'm glad the seme cut his hair in the end, he look way better with shorter hair, and manlier too.
Anyway, I loveeee the uke so much.
2nd story is also good. It's has a different atmosphere.

This is a very good read indeed and it's not your typical one..I really liked the two stories especially how okumura-san (the uke) is very manipulative!

The story also became funny towards the end..the only regret is that Katagami doesn't have a story and was left only with the impression that he has a very poor fashion statement.

I recommend this especially when you've read too many yaois and can't find decent ones. I actually got fed up after reading too much cliches it's a good thing I stumbled to this one! Though story 2 is a little bit of a cliche I think that you would really like the first story!

I already read the 1st story from such a long time ago, but why I just read the 2nd now? I read it again and my opinion is....
Funny and Interesting! It's unique! I love all the Characters and the Pairing! It's fun and Adorable! The plot is not ordinary! Especially the 1st story. Such a funny and crazy! The uke in that story is such a Manipulative type! But I think his love is serious? Well.... that's from your own opinion!
Anyway, this manga is worth to be read! Pretty Recommend it! 😉

I started this manga expecting another cliche, but boy was I wrong! It's a nice and refreshing surprise, somewhat exaggerated, but not too over the top. The uke in particular, is one hell of a character, I'd read it just for him alone. The seme on the other hand, fell short... which sort of creates this imbalance and destroys the chemistry. But other than that, I'd still recommend it, the drawing is definitely above average, very similar to kitakami ren's, and it's a hot and fun read~

The first few story wasn't that awesome, but I find the last two stories pretty interesting. It's very nice and sweet. The art is good and all...so I think it's kinda worth to read...? Anyway, just give it a shot!

i liked it, the 2 stories in this one, were good enough hahah
I looooved how the uke of the first story was(i thought he was the seme at first) but i got used to the idea and i loved how he could be sooo heart touching ONLY to get what he wanted lol..
In the second story, an original vibe, but it sure was cliche, hahaha, even so, i liked it.. i would read another title by the mangaka....
