it was one of the first manga I've read and the first one on manga culture and doujins and Mizuki was my first manga crush good times

I didn't find this manga all that interesting. The plot is good (you can tell what's going on), but it really wasn't that interesting to me. I like the art style in this, though. I guess your opinion on this series comes from how much you really enjoy it. For me, there wasn't much fun in reading it. It's story on getting noticed in the manga producing world whether it be with doujinshi or original work. I'm more in to fantasy, so I guess it would make sense that I'm not that into this series.....
