I have only read the first volume but I really enjoyed it. The stories were simple, some stranger than others, about the relationship between people, ghost or not. I first went into the manga thinking it would be a bunch of smut, one of those all smut no plot stories because of the genres and I had never touched it before because I simply wasn't interested. And then I was scrolling through the list of manga on mangafox and just decided to try it. I regret not picking it up before.
If you read into it enough, some may say it was deep but I think what is so attractive about it is that it's so simple. The sex is not a frenzy of sweat and desperation but more of calm lust, that is more for the comfort from loneliness or simply because they were horny. It's not even a large part of the plot, simply added so that there is more deepness to the connection between the characters.
The ending of each of the one shots, in a way, feel incomplete but it does not leave a dissatisfying feeling. It feels like an ending but the storyline feels incomplete. I thought about how that makes sense and to me, I think it felt like that because the whole story seemed like an ending.
They are not happy endings but at the same time they are not sad. It feels like even though it's ended, it's continuing, it's just not being told to us. And it's want attracted me towards the story.
It felt like clear water. The storylines were clear and simple, making them really nice to read. I suppose I would call them serene stories.
Even though they had quite darker themes like incest, yaoi and pedophilia, it didn't feel like that at all. It just felt like they were two people who had a relationship. Before you get mistaken, they are not love stories, maybe he first one could be considered romance but when I say "relationship" I meant the connection between the characters.
Anyway, it really plays it off and simple lust but it doesn't feel disgusting.
The emotions that the manga makes you feel is probably almost nothing but something that makes it linger.

Oh well, this manga is so great. It's very erotic and kinda graphic too, but it's all dealt in a calm, natural way. I love Takako Shimura drawings, she has a style that's kinda cute but still somewhat realistic. This manga s a collection of short stories featuring different characters dealing with sex, love, infatuation, desire and relationships. The stories are nothing out of ordinary (even with ghosts appearing in some of them), and I think the way it uses the mundane is a really cool thing about this manga.

This wasn't a bad manga, but I feel that it was kind of bland - it'd be much, much better if the author instead made it into a full-blown romance manga or a hentai one. As it stands, Dounika Naru Hibi is somewhere in between and is neither very romantic nor arousing.
Reading it probably isn't a waste of time, but there are many better works.

Mix of good and meh.

I like the art and the overall feel of the manga. Sadly, I only liked some of the stories, the rest seemed bland or uninteresting due to the way they were presented. The manga is decent and I wouldn't mind rereading it in the future, but I don't see my opinion of it changing.

it's slightly flat, especially that it deals of an emotionally dense incident, it kinda leaves me with the feeling that i have to think about it by myself, and i like those short stubbed stories, that deliver the moral of the story by its abruptness.

i thought the stories was straight forward but since they were so short, i couldnt get to feel anything for the characters because there are no character development. 6/10 because the stories were decent.

The art isn't anything special (I enjoy simple art though generally).
I think this is a bit too realistic for me to enjoy as a manga because personally when I want to read manga I look for stories with a perfect love or a lot of romance and all that.
This manga has no fluffly pink romance.
People have sex just cause, there's twins, yuri, yaoi, student-teacher and a guy who wants to do it with his sister.
I didn't dislike this, but it wasn't great either. It just didn't have anything for me to really love.

This has got to one of the most underrated manga~
I love it. And the artwork is ok. Quite nice actually. The emotions are transmitted well.
Shame the backgrounds aren't really good~
Anyways, about the story and characters...
All great.
And god, I love blunt. I love the simple and forward way the stories are told. Some are hidden, but all comes out in the end.
Really amazing I'd say.
My favorites so far (read volume 1, and chapter 5,6 and 9) are Scene 1 and Scene 5. The third scene was good as well.

The art is cute, and the stories are cute. Other than that, unfortunately it is kind of forgettable. The stories feel nice while reading them, but there's nothing really grabbing about the plots that retain in one's mind after finishing. I'd say fans of this author's other works will probably like it more or less, once you get used to the author's style.
The art was disgusting.

I couldn't even make it past the first chapter. If you can make it past that, kudos to you 'cause I really couldn't.
