1 Volume (Complete)

It runs as a satire of Samurai films and manga. The choreography is extreme. The action is bloody. The scenario is over the top.
But underneath it you have a very cynical look at Samurai culture and function. The main characters are unrepentant sociopaths. The peasants they are meant to protect are exploited from all sides. And the cartoonish aesthetic reinforces the rose-tinted and patronizing view of Samurai culture modern people have.
Its almost like Shigurui in terms of its dislike of Samurai, but this approaches from the other side. Rather than focusing on people consumed by the system, this choses to show people that have no connection to ideals of Bushido or the political system of Japan. The traveling ronin that dominate those without protection and couldn't care less about them.
this is just nothing but two guys killing about 499 people in the fastest way possible just using swords. due to the art, the deaths look quite comical, and there is no viscera involved so anybody could enjoy this without being squeamish. read this if you are bored, nothing much is going on for this manga.
