the art are very suitable for the type of story written. it invoke a nastier atmosphere than if it's from some other art style. we can almost feel the gooey secretions, the slimy waste, the soul of the undead.... the characters all have different faces and easily recognisable, however most of them have the same 'emo' personality - which is not bad, due to the nature of the story. on the whole, the plot is quite nonsensical, but that doesn't matter because it is believable enough to produce the willies. some of the story produce feelings not only of horror, but also repulsion, pity, sadness, and sometimes mirth - a collection of emotions that make this manga a worthwhile one to read.
