But when the school's number 1 honor student Mitsuki "cyborg" Konno asked him to a 1-month date, in exchange for the front row ticket to his favorite singer's concert, he was forced to accept. Very sweet, very heartwarming. I love that it actually focuses more on the 'family' aspect of the main characters' relationship, and how their love is pretty straightforward and simplistic but not unbearably boring. (And by the way, kissing is not the only key to romance, guys, stop being so bothered.) That being said, I'm really not fond of the many love rivals and find those irrelevant to the plot development. Many of the arcs are also redundant, which at times made me feel like the story is too dragged on. Not so great pacing and developments, but sweet story and likable characters; all in all, a quite nice read.
OMG sensei is so kind n never ever try to look cool or so what most shoujo male lead. He passionately think of everything. Love that part very much. Fumino is cool but surely very much & always be frank & never keep to her heart & assume thing...
I really this manga. Nothing is wrong with the love begins out of pity. Since later on they try hard to survive together get everyone respect their feeling.
i like teacher-student manga and was hoping this to be a great one too but was annoying when the truth was out i was so disappointed like no way and the Fumino i dont like her shy character she wants to be more close to sensei Kazuma but when he gets close she ends up kicking him and stuff will i was expecting a lot more but it was slow not much changed and nothing that fun through all i read i only got stress only
It's been a long time comin' but the ending has finally arrived and I relished every step of the way. The premise of the story is deceiving because you may be thinking "Teacher-Student relationship, say wha? Must be full of sexual innuendos and lusty scenes" Certainly 100% was not the case (although there were some innuendos that were not acted upon). The love was as pure as it can possibly get and I think the slow but sure progression in Fumino and Kazuma's relationship is what made the story so enjoyable for me. The artwork is absolutely beautiful and catered to my preferences very well. Scenes were all well depicted and so I give a 10 to the artwork. The various love polygons were a zesty addition and made the work more interesting. Although, I did feel like some parts could have been fast-forwarded and skipped, they were nonetheless great. I loved how the characters placed a great emphasis on the sanctity of family and the importance of perseverance. I personally wish to have a period of time dedicated to reading it in its entirety again because I honestly did enjoy it that much in this journey.
So all in all, highly recommended if you're in the mood for something that will make you gush and smile. Enjoy.
It's really great and has a nice, simple story to it. It's really cute and it is SOO SWEET! I LOVE IT! The drawings are really good and clean and Fumino's relationship with Kazuma is (again) SOOOOO SWEET AND ADORABLE!!!! I wish it didn't end. I wish all of my favorite manga never ends because when it does, i feel as if they died or they kind of "left" me.....Okay this is getting off topic but anyways, TOTALLY WORTH READING! Until the very end! TnT
I enjoy this series a lot though sections irritate me. I have grown very tired of series' ending this way, with the guy rather being forced or choosing to leave for usually about a year or more with the last scene being the meeting of the couple after being apart for a time or saying goodbye just before they leave. I've seen it in at least 12 other series, for example, Boys Over Flowers, Fullmetal Alchemist, Tampopo, and more! Why are mangakas obsessed with the "long journey", as I like to call it? Just let a couple be happy for once without throwing in pointless complications that serve more as an irritant, rather than a device that tries to make us feel pity and more invested. If the characters are well written, with great personalities, we'll be invested already. Over all did enjoy this series though. Ah! Another manga cliché in this series: the overbearing "powerfull" family that in reality would have no control over the protagonist, yet in the series seems to be able to change a persons life with just one decision. Boys Over Flowers had that too... but I won't get into that now. 7/10
Splendid! The art is wonderful, the characters are interesting and the couples progress well. It is not too rushed and the plot is well focused all throughout the manga. I love it how the Mangaka loves to pair up random characters together. This one, I am referring to Kazuma's friend, Retsu being interested in Fumino's friend, Oka. It would have been adorable if the Mangaka did a small arc for those two... But oh well. Anyway, this manga is very much recommended. *thumbs up*
How it started was pretty good, but I think it could of been done better. I had to take a break from it towards the middle, cause it was getting stale for me, but towards the end it kind of picked up again. Overall I enjoyed it, it progressed well, and all characters were pretty likable, even the dad. Yeah, I said it, even the dad!
been waiting for this to get completely scanlated 'cause the description made it sound so goood. it's not bad but i'm on the 8th volume after a few hours and it's getting drag-y (for lack of a better word) hope the ending is satisfying... Edit: ending was a bit rushed...and four months doesn't seem like that big a deal..nevertheless an alright read when you have nothing to do
