Description
Sahara is a normal high-school girl whose life is turned upside down when she meets "Gertrude," a 100-year-old demon who looks like a teenaged boy. Gertrude is a man-made demon, constructed from the parts of various other demons and brought to life through a "recipe" from an ancient spellbook.

I actually picked this manga up on a whim, not expecting much, then it turned out to be an amazing, original series. Too bad Kusakawa's titles are so hard to find, now...
LOVE IT! It was a great blend the pacing was fast, but it was a great change for me w/ the slow pace mangas I have been reading. Kinda wish she continued w/ more adventures tho!
A decent blend of the supernatural and fantasy, and best of all, the characters are striking and are not your stereotypical types. There's a good dose of mystery thrown in, enough to make you want to read the next chapter. The artwork is nice, in its own way, although some people might not get used to it immediately. But above all, the romance between Sahara and Gertrude is well-made by the mangaka.
I thought the storyline was great. The characters had life and love in them; even the bad guy. Well, I wouldn't say bad guy. Sahara's brother was just doing what he wanted to do. I thought it should had gone more than 5 volumes but oh well. I love Gertrude. He's so sweet and kind!
