Description
[From Kotonoha]:
Ichiko Izumiya is a young student of English who would like to walk in the footsteps of her father is a translator of trendy American novels. She finally decides to confess to him that she is in love with Eriko, a law student. Ichiko will attempt to live out her homosexuality in peace and will be brought to wonder about the nature of her relationship: is she really homosexual or simply in love with a sensitive being who happens to be of the same sex?
The story is really nice.it gets you thinking and it changes from the usual (highschool) yuri. But the art... I really dislike it, especially Ichiko. I still managed to finish it (only 1 volume), and in the end I enjoyed this manga, but I give a minus 1.5 because of the art. Well, some people might like it though. So try reading the first chapter, and if it' okay for you keep going
A very nice and balanced slice of life manga. I recommend this, even if you ain't into yuri. If you like josei and slice of life, this is worth a read.
The story revolves around Ichiko and her experiences concerning different kinds of love and desire. We hear about her emotions through her conversations with her lover, friend and dad. The message of this manga is very nice. You shouldn't blame how you are on others (for instance your parents) and you shouldn't blame your choices on others. What you do is your decision, and yours alone. And when you've come that far, you should completely accept who you are, since running away will get you nowhere, ironically.
