Description

Series of short stories revolving around a poor builder and a wealthy proprietor, including:

1) Sweet Home
Mizuho is living on the edge of poverty in a 4.5 tatami mat room (7.5 square meters) due to his family's debt. One day he collapsed from hunger and is carried home by his unruly coworker Yae-san. Is the willful Yae truly what he appears to be?

2) Sweet Prisoner
A misunderstanding leads to S&M.

3) Sweet Worker
A coworker takes an interest in Mizuho.

4) Sweet Memories
Mizuho's old apartment is being torn down.

5) Northmen
Takes place in the time of the Vikings.

There are some moments where things go extremely fast. Not much character development, if any at all, and you never get a real connection with any of the characters. Ok, so i'm a sucker for rich guy plus poor guy relationships. On top of that, the uke had muscles and the seme really liked that so manly guys all the way. Apart from that, the rest was cliche and i was rather disappointed with the uke when he became weak to sex. Now, as a virgin, i dont really know how men ACTUALLY react to pleasure and so i am never sure if they actually do get that weak to sexual pleasure. Nevertheless, to go from punching a guy to completely professing his love to the same person seemed rather fast to me. Finally, the oneshot at the end was very interesting. This was the first BL story i had ever read that had vikings in it and so it offered something new despite being wrapped up in a cliche. But that was ok because Vikings are cool A fairly ok manga overall, and i quiet like this mangakas drawings so i give it a 7 ... Last updated on January 1st, 2012, 5:49pm

How to describe it? The characters are stupid (intelligence wise) and plot was predictable, except it's GOOD. It's funny and lighthearted with decent smut, and could defiantly brighten your mood. It's good quick read if you have a hour to kill.

All except the last chapter are about the same couple. One of the main characters is supposed to be middle-aged, but I can't tell at all, and I like it that way, lol. I like the art style, particularly in the last chapter. If you like it, check out Kouya no Seifukuou by the same mangaka. It's very similar, since it's also about Vikings. All the chapters are sweet and sexy, with some drama mixed in, but not too complex. The last chapter is more serious; it has no comedy, while the main story is more cute and funny. This is just a nice, easy read.
