Let's just say that the female's love is superficial, and the author focused more on the relationship between Ren and Aisu that Hiro seemed like a side character instead of one of the people in the love triangle. He just didn't have any presence for me and seemed like the cliche baby-face 3rd wheel. With that said, I couldn't understand how Aisu was in "love" with Hiro throughout the volume. I mean, really, it was so hard to see his good points because the author hardly gave him time to express himself until the end. Overall, it felt like a waste of time for me, but then again, I was rooting for the other party all the way. Oh well, I'll just pretend that he got with a girl 100x better than Aisu--which can be easily done.

... it was nice when Yuuta said that people's feelings couldn't be forced and not giving up doesn't necessarily mean that you had a chance, but that healthy dose of reality just got turned onto its backside when yep she won the object of her (supposed) unrequited affection.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Such a shame... I was rooting for Ren... because I agree with him, Hiro backing off because he was worried about his friend's feelings suggests his affection for Aisu wasn't that strong.
