The story reminds me of Ghibli's...
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
A human girl, magic, and his relationship with a man that's a magical human-like creatures. Where the bond between them is the final-deciding-factor of the final result.

At first, for me, everything was kinda confusing, because it's so not clear who-is-what, and the scene jumped so sudden. But as the story went, I started to understand who-is-what and where the relationship went, and I started to reaaaally enjoyed it!
I love the gentle relationship between the main charas, told step by step... though IMO there should be more scenes between the main charas for them to be bounded that deep, because at one point I felt that their relationship just... suddenly jumped? But still it touched me sooooo deep, because I really love Mimizuku and Fukurou's bond! I also liked Mimizuku's personality that formed by her past.
Well, this is the author's first work afterall. IMO, eventhough it lacked here and there, but it reached my heart!

Recommended! Especially if you're a fan of Ghibli's, try reading this!

I read this in one sitting! Of course since it's a light novel it's shorter than a normal novel, but thst is not why. The story wad so good! The flow of the it was great, the characters interaction with each other was very nice. I just wish there could have been more on the relationship between Mimizuko and Fukurou. The ending was completly satisfying as well the tenderness between Mimizuko and Fukurou was just lovely. I also loved Kuro's and Mimizuko's relationship, very natural feeling and genuine. I suggest this light novel to anyone!
