I can't quite give it a rating yet because it just started but it's definitely promising. One major point is quite different. I wrote a pretty long review for the original La Corda D'Oro series which I liked, but I did rant for a full paragraph about Hino Kahoko the heroine. To my pleasant surprise, I absolutely love Kohinata Kanade from this series! Something about her is just so cute and endearing, and I am looking forward to more development between her and the rest of the cast. That said, the opening chapter is a tad confusing and it was a little hard to keep up with the number of characters thrown in there, but they seem to have deeper back stories than the characters in the original series, which is a huge plus for me as a reader. So as of now, I would say that this is definitely on the right track.

After I have read 3 chapters and 2 extras I can say that it has totally captivated me. Nothing less expected than Yuki Kure. I actually think that kiniro no corda 3 is better than La corda d'oro. The characters have more depth {as shown in the PS2 game} and in the manga too.

Kohinata Kanade {The female main protagonist} is nothing like Hino Kahoko in La corda d'oro. She is not a crybaby, but instead she never hesitates to punch the boys. To be honest, all characters have back stories and the cast is longer than the first series.

I totally suggest you to read it, even though only a few chapters have been released.
