Eh, it was ok-ish. Adds a little more background to some of the characters for Freezing fans. Chiffon also gets a boob upgrade in this version. They leave some important details out though. I mean future 3rd ranked Pandora of West Genetics Ticy Phenyl couldn't even materialize her volt weapon at the beginning of this spin-off which was kinda of a big deal in the story, but at the end she's armed and ready to go. How did she finally achieve it? We don't know and its strange because it would have been a significant achievement for her in this story. The only ability or training that Chiffon demonstrates for most of this spin-off is being likeable and baking. So when she finally uses her abilities they seem to come out of no where. Most of these abilities are called "high end skills" that Pandora train for, so how does Chiffon as a freshman have these enormous skills? It doesn't seem like she's doing any training, even the Chevalier are caught by surprise at her enormous power. Like the main Freezing story line everything feels too shallow. As always the art is nice to look at, but by itself does not warrant grading this manga high.
