Great art from Matsumoto Tomo, as usual, but this oneshot is so short that it was hard to get any real idea what the story's about or feel something for the characters. It's clear that the two guys are rivals for a piano competition and that they have a love-hate relationship. There are references to a past romantic interlude, which I'm assuming is the reason for the strong tension between them and feelings of resentment from one party. There seems to be a second chapter in the upcoming Shiro LaLa - perhaps I'll like this better in hindsight when I'm given more than brief, disjointed flashes of these two characters.
