Description
From AQUA Scans:
"Flowernoid", dolls created with the special nature of flowers, and who devotes themselves to a master. This is the story of Satsuki, a master flowernoid repair specialist whose daily life changes by happening upon a lovely flowernoid. "From now on, I belong to you" the flowernoid claims.
I liked this; It was really short but cute as well. :3 In particular, the art style is really pretty, feminine and delicate - almost shoujo-like really, although the story itself isn't filled with any shoujo cliches, so give it a try. My only complaint is that the romance is somewhat rushed and the story is lacking in tension and all that (it doesn't really leave the reader with much of an impact or emotions afterwards). However, the mangaka did a really good job considering that it's only 3 chapters long, so read it if you have a few minutes.
If you're looking to read something similar, I'd recommend Hanamatsuri. Both take place in a fantasy universe where dolls devote themselves to their masters (Hanamatsuri deals with a flowery theme as well).
Sure it was cute, but when I finished it I was left with... nothing. The plot was super simple, the characters only all right, and I was left feeling like it should have continued, something more should have happened. It was a cute story though, and I did enjoy reading it.
Plot- As I said, simple. It mainly revolves around the main two characters and their progressing relationship. The other elements are only there to draw the two closer. It was executed nicely, but it should have been drawn out over a longer time span for me to be really impacted by it.
Characters- I could have liked them, if I had learned more about them. The characters were interesting, and Satsuki and Sora both had interesting struggles and I would have liked to see them grow. BUT the story is short, only three chapters, so I was left feeling a bit disappointed by the letdown of character development.
Art- Pretty and it fits the flower theme.
Other- I liked the story, but was left disappointed and feeling like there should be more because of how short it was. I'd also agree with the other review, it's definitely more of a shoujo than shounen. The story revolves around the romance and has that shoujo element to it (complete with sparkles and bubbles) Read it or not, it's no loss or gain since it's so short.
I would like to point of firstly: this seems like a SHOUJO to me. Now the review: It is a great series... the plot was an ok, the characters are cool :3, especially the girl- I like how she's not too blushy blushy when he touches her (in fact, it has a opposite effect). However, if the info above is correct, I read two chapters, and well, I fear that this series might be TOO SHORT! Other than that, it is a cute read, not the best or the worst anyhow.
