Description
From Go!Comi:
Taki thought he knew exactly what he was getting into when he accepted a job at the church as an assistant -- but the job description never mentioned dealing with zombies! When night falls, the mysterious priest Shikimi and his new assistant venture into the graveyard to destroy the freshly risen dead. The enigmatic priest always seems to know when and where these creatures will appear, and as the days go by, Taki begins to suspect that the danger may also come from within...

Really Liked It

After I was well into the series (and looking for more volumes to buy) I noticed sites like Akadot or entries on ebay calling this a yaoi manga. Which is misleading. There might be some BL vibes from one of the secondary characters, but that's all I saw.

Maybe I've rated this too high, and the plot isn't particularly original, but it gave me lots of feel-good times. It's a small-scale story, and focuses on the characters, but has a yummy dark and tragic edge. I like the very stylized art. It's a series I felt was a good investment.

And for those of you who don't want to try to scrounge and collect the hardcopy, JManga has started releasing it digitally.

I haven't finished this yet, I still have to buy the two last volumes, but I must say that this is really good! The art is nice and the story is interesting. There are hints of shonen ai so if you like that kind of stuff: Read it. If you don't: Read it.

Some part of the story feel a bit unfinished, but is an overall awesome manga! There are some part that are borderline shonen-ai'sh but is not enough that it would bother anybody... specially considering that love and such are not a focus of the story. Anyway, if you are reading this review defenitly pick it up and give it a try! it's a very funny and interesting story.

I bought all vol of this series its really good i don't want to leave any spoilers though but i didn't really see much if any shounen ai in this i guess if you interpret it as that from their relationship its possible but i really like this series with are without the shounen ai elelment it's a good read even if your not into the shounen ai genre theres not enough in here to keep you from reading it i'd give it a go if possible
