Description
From MangaHelpers:

Ichijo Kazuya thought that he was murdered, but when he came to, he was back in his high school days. He lived his entire life as a playboy and had had countless sexual encounters with women until that fateful day that he was killed. He realizes that his murderer was his old high school friend Tanaka Masaki who was jealous of Kazuya’s relationships and his built up anger eventually exploded. Taken back 15 years into his past, it seems that he has been given a second chance at life and given a chance to make different choices. He decides that the way to prevent his eventual demise is to make sure Masaki is more successful with girls and loses his virginity before Kazuya. But fate seems to be steering Kazuya towards the path of his previous life and keeps introducing the same girls he had sexual encounters with. [vyc]

A peculiar one

What has been already made clear by other comments is that this really is an anti-harem manga (as in Girls Saurus). The main hero wants to get away from the girls while the girls are really attracted to the hero.

Thing is this manga does it really well (at least till the last translated chapter (tenth)). The main hero is a strong character. Due to the age experience he knows how to deal with people and the manga uses it very well. There are no childish moves by him, except, perhaps, arguably his will to protect himself from his best friend?s potential homicide.
It kind of reminds me of Onani Master Kurosawa as it was also the case of the main hero trying to fix his wrongs.
The manga as well establishes really well the consequence-result part, i.e., what would have gone wrong if the hero would have gone the wrong way. The result of what is that the hero's actions can truly be looked upon with empathy, despite the introduction of this manga that would make the readers look upon the hero with pity/repulsion.

P.S. As there are only ten chapters translated, this manga by far doesn't deserve a ten, but as there seems just so much potential in character development, I give this mark a bonus in hopes that it will continue in this way.

Hm, just read all the chapters available right now (up to 10) and I like it. The setting is novel enough and the main character goes through developments and revelations that I did not expect when I initially picked this one up. The art is nice as well, but so far the story is what makes it for me. The MC is no wuss and is quite quick to catch on to things, which is refreshing.

behind the weird premise the principle of averting clichés
thought i get the feeling that it has similarities to games (bad end -> restart) for than a school setting manga
thought the grudge of his friend looks pathetic but my intuition tell me its not what it appears to be
thought I guess he will have to pay more attention to his friends and love interest he will finally learn why got killed

It's humourous because it directly opposite of harem manga. Because he's convinced that he will be killed in future if he lose virginity before his best friend, man try with all his might to avoid doing it with his numerous high school conquest. Of course, as a future playboy lived in his HS body, he got enough instinct to act right and cause them to fall in his lap. The laugh is when he scramble out of the way.

EDIT: Vistrans dropped the series? Aaaaww~

The premise is dark - a person predicting his own death and waking up in the past. But the manga is surprisingly humorous and light. The time slip device is awesome because we get to see the parallel timelines as he's experiencing his past, and we see the changes he makes. He retains his memories and uses his insight as an adult to stand out among the other high schoolers.

There's a lot of potential for this plot to get complex and deep, but right now I am very satisfied at the way this manga is going. Looking forward to reading more.

Playboy transforms into a loyal guy?

I really like to see him fall for Soutome or even the girl his best friend has a crush on. I know it's bad, but those two girls seem to be the main focus. Maybe he didn't meet the right girl, and it happens to be the one girl he has to stay away from at all cost?

Just earlier today, I was talking about two types of cheaters: A cheater who has feelings for more than one girl and a cheater who has no feelings for any girl. Maybe he'll turn out to be the guy who actually has feelings for girls?

Heh, this manga is definitely interesting, and the best friend pisses me off a lot ^_^, he's so emo, go to a club or a soap whatever if being a virgin is so horrible!! Although he does seem like a nice guy that has his own morals bigrazz but then again, he killed his best friend from high school ( -.-)....

Why do I always start reading addicting manga with only a few [4] chapters released?
The main character is pretty reasonable and relatable while the supporting cast help move the story along nicely. The plot is pretty awesome [who wouldn't want to go back into highschool and mess around?], not totally original, but I do like how the 'going back into the past' is not cut n dry where instead it's more like memories of the future that come to and grow overtime (but it does seem like the main character knows of the future more than what the manga shows at times, like his new mature attitude) so you are not given everything off the bat with some mystery detective work given to the readers which is pretty addicting so far. Because currently, what's really out of place is his friend's future reaction and what really triggers his murdering of the MC. As of right now, the author can really make this interesting or slip up and make this predictable.

I have mixed feelings about the main character but the concept itself is very good.

The reason why I didn't find the protagonist all to my likings is because I am too used to losers getting the harem that any deviation from the the norm makes it a turn off for me, although it would make more sense if I felt refreshed from a pimp being a main character since we never get pimps as main characters.

The art itself is very good. By that I mean the girls are all effin' hot. Especially Reiko and and the cute Soutome. Hot girls/good art in a manga is always a plus for me.

One thing that people might dislike about the main character is how he treated women in the parallel universe/future. This guy is a playboy, so we all know what that means. But a mildly redeeming factor in this guy is that when he gets transported back in time, he tries his best to stay away from girls and ends up treating them differently. He brings out different sides to the girls that would otherwise been locked up inside them. Though his change in attitude is mostly attributed towards saving his own hide in the future, he seems sincere enough to not commit the same actions again.
