Whoo novel

I really like the novel much better than both the manga and the anime. I saw/read those before I got my hands on the novel, so when I re-read the same thing in the novel it was pretty dull.

But- when I was reading the stories that weren't included in the manga or anime (sliding blade, for example), I found myself going "wow, this is really good!" Of course, many things got lost in translation, surely... The diction and/or wording seems very sloppy at times.

Hilarious moments, pretty serious undertones, and kickass characters to boot. What more could you ask for?

This is one of the first novels I bought (okay, the fourth), and again I was really impressed with the translation. As for the story itself, it was sort of like Hellsing, but more apocalyptic, with steampunk overtones. And Abel kind of reminds me Ruroni Kenshin... but with pheromones or something. All the girls get crushes on him. XD

this was the first novel i'd ever purchased and to my surprise(note: i've never read Trinity Blood before) it was really good!
i really like how Abel is really dummy and everything but he still has the trait of a classic shounen hero: able to tap into his superpowers when the going gets tough.
in a way, he sorta reminds me of Kyoshiro Mibu frm Samurai Deeper.

anyway, all i have to say is: the art is super duper intense pretty gothic and the story isn't bad either. (the art is actually prettier to me than the ones in the manga that i've seen so far.)
