The guy who's always been by my side... the distance between us changes...
Oneshot (Complete)

This was a pretty average shojo manga oneshot. The story was a very simple childhood friend romance and if you feel up to something like that then this is perfect. The characters are ordinary, but likable. The art is simple and refreshing. Overall, this is the perfect one shot for someone who is looking for something sweet, quick, simple, and short.
It is in fact a cute read, that comes along with a realistic feel to it. The characters aren't overly immersed in their own delusions about being in love for the first time, but just get along with the flow naturally and the non-problematic conclusion made me smile. The drawing style is similiar, natural and not overbearingly cute, so it's a refreshing view. The only thing, that got a tiny little bit on my bad side, was ...
The exchange teacher is carelessly kissing a middle school(!) girl in an empty(?) classroom, during a time when the school is filled with other people. At least, if the age gap really doesn't matter for the author, then he should have behaved more mature and the time skipped. Though, this wouldn't make me understand his behaviour... Sighs.
