Description
From Central Park Media: This is the story of the Kagura Security Company, five women and one man, who act as detectives and handle cases that are bizarre or out of the ordinary. Most cases are either supernatural or technological in origin and are solved using tactics of similar means: computers, magic, charms... and big guns. The company's president, Yuka Kikushima, is a fiery redhead who always leads her team into the strangest of situations. She tends to leap before she looks and always lands the group in hot water!
I would also have to agree this series is actually pretty good. I was a bit skeptical at first, but when CPM went out of business I managed to get ahold of this series for a dollar a piece. CPM had good taste. Paying more than a dollar is a bad decision though.
This has to be one of my most favorite series, however I've only been able to read 5 of the current 12 volumes. Those 5 were the ones that CPM translated before they more or less stopped their manga line. (I had to go through hell and ebay to get those 5 books, btw)
The Geobreeders Anime that CPM also released is just as good, though it shouldn't be watched without at least reading the first 5 volumes, since the Anime was made to take place between books, rather than having a completly stand-alone plotline. You will surely get confused if you watch the anime first.
I've been searching and searching for a translation of the remaining volumes, but sadly have been unable to find them. I've even gone as far as purchasing the remaining Japanese volumes from Amazon.co.jp.
