It's a good series. Sometimes I've got a problems with the drawings...but that's just me, of course. The mangaka did not invent anything new, but what he draws is a pretty good story.

Great manga!! Agreed like FMA in many ways

While I disagree that this is a masterpiece..this is good. It reminds me of FMA alot due to the artwork and the approach (unique individuals in a formalized organization and levels of unique conspiracy between those in good and evil). Excited to see where it goes but thus far seems very exciting and great shonen manga.

An awesome series

This has to be my favorite manga series. The storytelling is impressive, to say the least, and able to bounce from dramatic to humerous and back again without jarring the reader. It truely succeeds where many series fail to portray a desperate struggle made by the heroes. The art and character designs are beautiful. If I was to give it a fault, I would say that the characters may be a bit generic, but with time that proves more and more untrue. It's a wonderfully unique and imaginitive story (and a bit twisted at times), and reccomended read for... anyone!

To the Unexpected

This is definitely one of the unexpected mangas out there. The first volume might make you feel like you know what to expect but after that itís one hell of a joy ride. The art is great and Hoshino Katsura has a particular drawing style that really expresses the almost chaotic bizarre/horror that is the world of D.Gray-Man. The author does a great job getting you involved with many different characters. Thereís also a lot of the human aspect in here that can leave you crying in regret or relief, enthusiastically cheering, or clinging to hope or desperation. It does a good job showing the negative and positive facets of humans in many situations. The plot is also really original. There are, of course, the awesome superpowers that are gained at that critical moment, right when the heroes need, it but thatís not a deterrent. The plot alone makes it a good read, but the style and character put into certainly make it into an inspiring experience.
