Description
Scene: The School Rooftop The hero (me, Junpei Manaka!) sneaks up to the roof to see the sunset. When he opens the door, he startles a mysterious beauty. She panics and runs away, but not before Junpei has caught sight of her adorable strawberry print panties...in EXTREME close-up. With that vision forever burned into his memory, Junpei embarks on a quest to find the girl, and the panties, of his dreams!
mm nice harem type manga, i enjoyed the art a lot, i was very sure he would end up with Toujo but it didnt go that way (and still dunno if thats good or not). i still wonder whats so good with manaka : he's poor, dumb, uncool, brainless, weak, boring, indecisive and very plain, yet all the girls stick to him..bah onky God (and the author) may know..
The Story is nice i saw the anime at first and i feel it was kinda fun i like the voice behind toujo aya ^^ so i chase after it in manga and found out that Manaka endded up with Nishino no fair!!! i preferd Toujo so much i was thinking abt giving it a ten when reading it bfore the ending but... after the ending i think i give an 8 only
I blew through this manga in a couple days since I had the week off. When I first started reading ichigo 100%, it took about 5 minutes and bam I was completely into reading it. I was so engrossed by the manga that i'd often turn away during some of the really embarrassing moments---the author did a great job overall and his manga left a lasting impression on me. Somes Complaints: -I can understand how manaka was a wuss in the beginning, but after awhile I saw no reason for him to get so heated after seeing a girl's panties, especially when boobs were shoved in his face every other page
-sometimes the scenes got lame, usually ones involving how the girl's were attracted to Manaka. I tolerated and enjoyed most of them, but the one where Tsukasa was teaching Manaka how to swim was too much...when Tsukasa tells him that his doggie-paddling had inspired her, I laughed---anything this guy does seems to make these girls happy. But then again, that's what makes this manga perfect for a certain group of pple ^.~ haha, who can pretend they are Manaka or something along those lines.
Also some of the scenes were hilarious, mostly due to the way the manga was drawn. In one scene, Manaka's friends feel vengeful so they throw him into the hot spring (girls in it obviously) with the words "I am a pervert" painted over a towel on his head, or something like that... a nice little touch that had me laughing for awhile.
I watched the Anime series before reading manga.. I found out that being the best way to enjoy reading the manga.. The manga itself filled in the story nicely and revealed a few plot twists that were unfortunately left out on the animation..
Since everybody seems to have their opinion about "who Junpei should've picked".. I give my 2 cents..
I pulled my hair sometimes because of his indecisiveness..
Yui Minamito - Totally filler character, i wouldn't even consider her to be a notable contender here..Even the shy girl from cram-school was hotter...
Nishino Tsukasa - Dunno, maybe i'd place her 3rd on the pick-list..
Aya Toujou - At first i rooted for her, Aya vs. Nishino? No contest here.. 2nd
Satsuki Kitaoji - After reading the manga further, my heart went out for Satsuki.. totally.. Lovely character.. Place #1 in my books.. Besides, i've had my share of bad luck in love, so I can totally relate.. Unrequited love.. painful!
seriously the manga is far to long for my taste.. and manaka's who cant make any decisions just pisses me off as you see other girls in disdain. i thought kawashita other work, lilim kiss much better.
I am 100% sure that this manga has the most beautiful art I've ever seen. You could actually look at the characters and they were pretty, for drawings. The story is nice although a very common harem-comedy, with a loserish protagonist. Characters are interesting, I especially liked the fact that all the girls that liked manaka were actually nice and really did have potential to end up with him and they were all DIFFERENT. The manga also had enough romance/ecchi scenes and the comedy is so funny i couldn't keep my laughter. The ending was nice too, quit complaining about it, made the story stand out. All in all this is the best romance manga I've ever read.
The story is nice, and you can't help but enjoy the ecchiness here and there, but it was just too long, that even the eccchiness was getting annoying. Also, not much intimate things happen at all (those that come from love, anyways... most were just accidents, etc). If would have been much better if it were only around 10 volumes or so... But still, i guess it was a good manga.
