I think this manga is showing us a more in-depth of a side-character in a manga. Hatori's new girlfriend represent the usual main character - shy, not so pretty or special. Hatori is the mean, out-to-get the heroine rival who's also childhood freind with the hero, who is a bad boy. Seems familiar? I think this kind of plot makes it unique and worth reading since it's so different. this is probably what you're either gonna love or hate. The art is okay which is a plot and the scans are well done. Hopefully there will be more.

Maybe I haven't read enough shoujo like this before... but the first few chapters made me thought I had the story all figured out, that the hero will eventually fall for the heroine who waits for him. Then again... when I went on and read the summaries for the manga up till chapter 21 - it was a rather unexpected turn out..

the heroine's friend, Nakajima is now also kinda involved in this love polygon, probably kicking Adachi out of the picture. Hatori's started dating Kousuke and is visibly in love with him although Rita recently came clean with his feelings.. he actually realised he liked her when she confessed in the first few chapters.


Basically it's totally unexpected and I am really anticipating how the author wraps this up - hopefully not too ugly, and I urge you guys to read on if you think this looks cliché, as it definitely isn't and I hope there will be more scanlations in the future!!

I had high hopes for this one but as always it turned out to be your messed-up love polygon dragging shoujo manga.The characters became so dislikable,indecisive and annoying that I'm speechless.Everyone seems to end up liking everyone,stupid Hatori can't make up her mind at all,Rita is the biggest jerk ever and the rest are just plain annoying.Kousuke is probably the only relatively reealistic character of the bunch.All in all - drop,it was a waste if time.

I LOVE this MANGAAA. ;''{ I WANT TO KEEP READING ITTT.

This is a great manga c:.
I find it funny, cute, and touching all at ONCE!
I feel for Hatori. ^^ I've been in a situation JUST like hers. (minus child-hood friend status).
biggrin The plot line flows really well, the arts nice (i like looking at it n.n!) and I love the characters. C:
It's such a realistic story, of a girl believing she'll always be with the guy she likes,and only realizes too late how fragile her relationship with him was. :'c makes me sad. But I do love this manga.

AND SCANLATORS SHOULD KEEP SCANLATING >:{

I DISAPPROVE HOW NO NEW SCANS HAVE BEEN ADDED.
I believe they have dropped the project.. .___.
BUT the few chapters they have scanned are sure worth the read ^^

This is a manga where a plain girl falls in love with a guy and another girl that's been bestfriends with the guy secretly loves him, but no matter what she does, she always loses to the plain girl.This manga is exactly that but for once its from the jealous bestfriends point of view smile I like it .

I was reading this and my first impression is that the heroine is delusional, stupid and annoying but then, she can be anyone of us. She can be me. I can relate to her experience (and thus, reflect on my own story). When you're a teenager and it's your first love, you may act the way she acts and although now you may think how foolish it was for her to behave the way she does in the story. Anyhow, it's a good read.

Hatori is not like your typical shoujo main girl character. She's mean, but that's what makes this story realistic. And I like her personality, she's very honest to her feelings, also I can relate to her as much. When I read this series, I was all like "Oh she's truly like me!" so I sympathize with her, and I understand why she acts that way. Since she's just a teen, it's normal for her to be jealous, get mad when girls near the guy you like and feel anxious when he starts liking someone else.
The art is nice, it comes to my liking, though I don't like all the characters. Well, I like Kousuke, who appears in this story as a third person. He's nice, considerate, and also a hottie.. -laughs- I think he's the right one for her. I support him instead of Rita. Rita is the kind of guy that only feels the importance when someone takes his precious things away. Shoujos are always all like "only first love will bloom". But no, in this series, I'm rooting for the other guy! REALLY. If Koda-sensei chooses Rita instead of Kousuke, I will immediately drop this series right away! -_-
I give this a 8 because I have this bad feeling that the main girl is gonna be hooked up with Rita.. Agh.

Just gets to me soo much. Hatori is a character so many girls can relate with, including myself. Every chapter I read so far was truly realistic, sad, and comedic all at the same time. Personally, the characters can be too much at times, but this series is really worth reading(:

It's not like the other manga and I found MOST characters likable. Surprisingly, I did not like Rita or his girlfriend but everyone else seems good. I'm on scanlations ch8, summaries ch21. biggrin
Art is very good. Couldn't ask for better. I love the funny drawing styles.
Also, the humour is great and I love how modern the series is.

I'm really into this manga right now. I'm pretty surprised that I like it as much as I do. Sure, the characters can come across as fairly annoying every now and then but despite this, I still want to keep reading on. I do really hope Hatori doesn't end up with Rita though. I can't seem to understand want she sees in him. Kousuke shipper all the way! Really can't wait for the next chapter to come out. Anyone have a clue when that'll be? Sigh, if only I could read Japanese so I could get my hands on the raws.
