BEST MANGA I'VE READ AS OF L8!
A true mix of everything.. must admit i read it all in a day (all 78 chapters available).... one thing to comment on... it is borderline H!.....enjoy the ecchi but the plot does get lost in the sexualness of it abit but still a 10/10 for me.... XD
EVERY single girls appeared in this manga are sluts. Except for that yumin.
It's incredibly unrealistic and unfit for such a theme (mafia, barefist winning against guns? srsly?) And the fact that a man became the boss of korean mafia after.... 2 battles? I mean if that's what it takes then everybody could do it, right?
The art is good, but plot and everything else just sucks.
I dropped this series around chapter 11 because of the bad translations and the mixed up pages (the zip files would always display out of order for me in CDisplay). Anyway, after reading yokeepsitreal's comment about not judging until after the monk training, I decided to pick it up again, and I am so glad I did. This pretty much has everything I look for in a manga: Action - Considering it's about gang wars and the mafia, there's never a lack of action, and after the training with the monks, the action is pretty epic. Art - Seriously beautiful, realistic during the fight scenes. Comedy - Boichi-sensei draws the cutest chibis ever. There is never a lack of comedy, even during the more serious parts of the manga. I found myself cracking up in the dead of night while I was catching up. Characters - Are excellent. Ken himself is so loveable while he tries to resist all the beautiful girls coming onto him because he already loves someone. Tae-soo is the brains of the group, but also gives off an ambivalent feeling, making me question whether he has ulterior motives. Romance - the romance between Ken and Yumin is really cute, though it hasn't really been developing in the latest chapters (65-77) because of the Idol Arc.
Anyway, I definitely recommend this, no doubt you'll be addicted after a couple of volumes~
You get to experience everything in this manga. The characters are interesting, the story changes pace to keep your attention, the artwork is beautiful, and it leaves you craving for more. I've yet to find a comparable manga worthwhile.
Everything I Wanted in a Manga
First off, you can't judge this manga based off the first 5 to 10 chapters. After
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
their training with the monks
the story starts to really pick up and the characters start to develop into super likable beings. Overall, this manga is has the potential to become fuckin amazing and I can't wait to read more.
I can't read this
What the hell is going on with these chapters? Chapter 5 and 6(And pretty much everything after 5) have no relation whatsoever to each other.
I have no idea whats going on. Its not the manga itself, its whoever's posting it. The storyline is completely out of order and I have no idea where to go after chapter 5.
I tried to keep reading it but I have absolutely no clue of what happened to reach the point that its at by chapter 6. I cant find any sites with this in the correct order, so I'll just have to drop it.
It sucks, cause I like this one.
Edit* Its not the manga. Its the way the chapters have been put in order on every site I visit. I LIKE the manga. Read the whole damn review before judging please.

A mix of every genre
I have read a lot of manga for many years, and Sun-Ken Rock is so far one of the best I have read and still reading. Storyline, art, character development: this manga has everything and should be able to satisfy the needs of most manga readers.
i seriously can't explain how much i love this series!
this is the second time im trying to explain this manga, and not succeeding very well...... but all ive got to say is i read a lot of manga and after reading this its become my favourite manga, it seriously is worth the read in my opinion! (funny yet serious at the same time with great characters, and development of the main character! also.....actually i'm gonna stop typing b4 i ramble on, might of already )
Just like Tour!
Even this manga is Ecchi, Martial Arts, Mature....type. But it look like we're tour in Korean. You guys think like me? because some time it show about how to cook food (some time it make me drool), name of food... better than tour to Korean! If we read this manga it just like we go to Korean too! (just kidding) Heh he
better than i was expecting
This story was a lot better than I thought it would be. After reading it I found it to be quite humorous and well balanced on it's series tones. It has a nice pace of showing the characters pursuing what they started out to do. I like the characters most of all too, they were pretty well thought out, you know enough of them to see where the story will go, and you believe in their interactions and relationships with each other.
