Brilliant, wry humor from the creator of Azumanga Daioh (Azuma Kiyohiko). I can't give this anything other than a 10. I've been following this from the start and it's one of only a small handful of titles I'd define as 'essential' reads.

Alright, I'm very hesitant to give anything a rating of 10, but as far as I've read in this series I can't find a reason not too. It's amazingly hilarious, and fun for all ages.

If I had to give this a TV type rating, I'd give it a G with a WARNING: Excessive Laughter May Cause Health Problems - Proceed with Caution!!!

Yotsubato! is probably among the most hilarious things I have ever been exposed to. The characters are quirky and endearing, and the idyllic suburban background only helps to accentuate their traits and make the whole thing even more uplifting than it already was. I honestly don't even want to know what kind of person cannot enjoy something like this- everyone should give this a shot, your taste doesn't matter.

Read this! It's cute humour and very much a slice of life.
When you need to smile and leave your worries behind, this manga is for you.
Can get boring and tedious because there's no plot, but plenty of narratives.

The best dumb-funny comedy ever. I mean ever.
Reading yotsubato just makes you feel good. And laugh. Really hard.
She has got to be the funniest kid ever drawn.
Plotless madness. laugh

It's so sweet. Yotsuba will rule the world, I tell ya.
I really hope the mangaka will make it long. And show us her school days.
Who could vote 1... Probably just wanted to lower the score for it...

Go Yotsuba-chan! Rule the world of manga. laugh

I've never laughed so hard at so many pages in one sitting until this one. This is really a mood lifter from seeing how insufferable the characters in most manga are. A really refreshing take on what we all ignore and regard as "petty" and "trivial" things.

All aspiring child-psychologists should be made to take an exam on this manga before getting their qualifications.

Some of the best comedy ever!!
Do not eat/drink stuff while reading this, because you'll end up staining the manga/monitor as a result from all the laughter.

Two thumbs and two big toes up!!

Impossible to hate

I don't like giving perfect ratings to anything and I actually tried to think of a reason to give this less than a 10, but I just couldn't find any. For what it is, a light and simple, very funny and uplifting slice of life about an adorably innocent and curious little girl, it's simply perfect.

Occasionally, I'm reminded of some of the funnier scenes by things in life and I'll smile and laugh little inside just from remembering it. I don't think any other manga has had that effect for me before.

There is not much to this story other than simply will laugh so hard that your stomach will hurt and your tears will come out, gosh even my throat is sore from laughing so loud. Yotsuba is a plain wacky kid. Although her father looks like none of his screws are loose, the way he acts sometimes make me wonder if maybe he's not just really good at hiding it? The mom next door is also in the same wavelength as Yotsuba. I laugh every time she interacts with her "demon child"!
