I really wanted to hate it

If you have a bad day or feel down, read Yotsubato! It is so lightwarming and funny you just can't resist to get in a better mood. I really tried to find bad points because I couldn't believe that I really like such a simple, stupid and yet lovely kind of manga, well in the end Yotsubato won. So again if you need to be cheered up or just want to laugh about the simple things in life, read it, you won't regret it. But be warned, once you start reading it there is no other option than loving it.

The innocence of Yotsuba makes this manga both cute and funny, it's warm in a way... Azuma sure has a unique yet skillful way to make his audience laugh smile

I think there's a misunderstanding, Yotsuba isn't dumb or "retarded" she's innocent, she's a precocious five year old little girl, who sees the world in a wonderful light. It's fun looking back to when everything was fresh and new. A heartwarming and funny manga. Two thumbs up!

This manga is just perfect. Funny and warm comedy that is very much alike with Azumanga Daioh.

I don't get tired of reading it, i like the way yotsuba sees everything, and how the characters interact between themselves. It's really easy to read, you won't read drama or pointless stuff, it's an everyday thing you'd like. i really like the dad, for me who doesn't have a father it gives me the idea of how wonderful it's like to have a dad.

Sunday Comics

Yotsubato for me is like a sunday comic you see in newspapers.

You read it for fun yet you never get bored of it.
Everyone said it already, Yotsubato is FUNNY, LIGHT, and very ENJOYABLE.

The adventure sucks you in, the characters are all likeable, a manga for all ages.

When I came to a public library, I saw Yotsubato, and the book looks like it's been read a lot of times base on the damage. Yes, it's re readable and you just can't get enough of it, you'll come back again and again because it lifts up your day full of positivity!

I love this manga because of how relaxing it is to read it. You don't get pump up or get irritated at the story but instead just get to read a great story about the life of a little girl. The characters are uplifting and everyone is willing to help raise Yotsuba and help her grow up. Teaching her what is wrong and right, and letting her enjoy being a child. This is a manga to read after you are burned out from gore, action, or even romance fill manga because this manga lets you just enjoy and relax throughout your read.

greatest manga ever

This manga is absolute love. I remember seeing this manga at a Bookfair at my school. Well I brought it and it was amazing. I laughed so hard and it kind of got me into manga a little bit. When I found out the manga, AZUMANGA DAIOH had the same mangaka, I was really shocked. That too was one of the earliest manga I have ever read.

Another reason why when I grow up, I want a daughter.
This easily gets a 10 by me. The simplicity of this manga is done exceptionally well and is extremely well planned out. Every single moment has a airy breathing moment of innocence and fun. The homely feel of the different family situations aren't distraught and distorted but reinforced with candid trust. The characters are greatly varied and balanced out for a good range, though, I would like to see more of papa Ayase. But other than that, I love it every time yotsuba infects everyone else with her child innocence. Hilarity ensues.

The best dumb-funny comedy ever. I mean ever.
Reading yotsubato just makes you feel good. And laugh. Really hard.
She has got to be the funniest kid ever drawn.
Plotless madness. laugh

It's so sweet. Yotsuba will rule the world, I tell ya.
I really hope the mangaka will make it long. And show us her school days.
Who could vote 1... Probably just wanted to lower the score for it...

Go Yotsuba-chan! Rule the world of manga. laugh
