Description

I'm with tazman and Octoberman on with it's similarity to Love Monster, but also on the point that it is BETTER than love monster. So far, the plot seems to be better developed and the characters are far more likable. For starters, Misao is so much more tolerable than Hiyoko in Love Monster. Sure she isn't the brightest heroine in shoujo manga you could come across, but she also seems to have some sense in her (for example, NOT letting the main guy character sexually assault her on his few attempts, lol), and does not have the pure moronic tendencies that Hiyoko seems to have (sorry Hiyoko fans, but she REALLY bugs me). The art is pleasant to look at as well.
So far, so good. It's to early to give it a raving review, but from what I've read it seems to be good so far. Hopefully, the story will stay that way.
just like octoberangel said the plot is similar to love monster but the characters are better developed and the plot seems more "mature" for lack of a better word. Love Monster's plot seems childish at times and not too serious but black birds plot is more convincing in terms of development between the characters and the flow of the story.
Although the storyline seems to be very similar to Love Monster (crow, monsters, childhood memories, "precious" girl) : the drawings are very good and the characters (in my opinion) have been developed better than those in Love Monster. I was a little sceptical about starting this one because of the *smut* tag: but generally (so far) it has been very clean and flows with the story... can't wait for the next chapter~ and hope it doesn't go downhill later on =d
