Pretty much only spoiler in this post so I don't recommend reading, if you haven't finished the series yet.

So I have read the whole series a while back and just went over it again. In the last battle between Ueki and Hanon it is revealed, that Hanon can just use the abilities of the people he ate/absorbed/whatever. So when he spits out Robert, he loses one set of celestial powers but in this battle he also talks about how weak Robert was when Hanon fought him and Robert's 10-star weapon (Archenemy) couldn't even scratch Hanon's. But how is it possible that Hanon could use the celestial powers in his fight with Robert in the first place? To do that he had to have eaten at least one 10-star celestial before and I don't see much advantages for Hanon if he spits this celestial out after the fight.
Have I overlooked something? Is it some error in the translation (read the VIZ version)?

If you know something I'd appreciate it if you could enlighten me.

I think he meant that Robert's 10-star weapon was just weak in general.
Hanoun didn't use (as you said, couldn't) any weapons.
I must admit I've just watched the anime, so not sure how well it applies to the manga.
Robert lost most of his hate for humanity which fueled his maou, and with that fuel gone, his maou was actually very weak, weak enough for Hanoun to defeat him with his "protector" physical strength.

Hope that's right, at least that's how I understood it from the anime!
