If I may suggest, how about limiting searches by number of volumes released for those who just want to read a shorter or longer series. For example, under the "Advanced Search by Genre", there could be an option where you could choose (these are just very approximate estimations) of short (1-5 vols), medium (10-15 vols) and long (16+ vols), etc.
I think this would be very useful because it'd make things more convenient for searchers.

Also, how about placing the "Advanced Search by Genre" in it's own spot on the right-hand toolbar or at least somewhere more... (new) user friendly? I think people who are unfamiliar with this site would have some trouble looking for this and wouldn't know where to find it in doing more precise searches.

Thanks.

(sorry about the bad grammar, but it's kinda late right now... 😛 )

I like the first idea, would make it easier seeing as most series are pretty long. But would that include completed scanlated or just the status of place in origin?

And wow, I just learned right now how to search for a series based on genres (using a keyword) thanks to you Cat. 🤣

Edit: Never mind, I was wrong. -.-'''

Length doesn't work well because of tank, bunko, reprints, etc

Aw, never mind then.
What about the other suggestion?
