Well, I'll go first 🙂 ...I've seen two that were just absolutely amazing.

Ha, funny you should ask because I think I just watched the best I've seen so far.

Full Metal Alchemist AMV

It's set to the song Hollow by Submersed and it's just really good, check it out.

I tried my hand at AMV making a few weeks ago and made two Bleach AMVs. Mostly because Bleach is the latest anime I've really watched and was the freshest in my mind when I started dabbling in video editing. I'm not even in the same league as those that make vids like I linked a second ago though.

My first AMV - Ichigo fighting his inner Hollow and set to Disturb's Down With The Sickness. I used the 'clean' version of the song because the whole rage against the mom bit doesn't work for me.

My second AMV - Ichigo vs Byakuya set to the fully orchestrated version of Nobuo Uematsu's One Winged Angel. (Sephiroth's theme from FF VII)

They're pretty fun to make actually. I'd like to do another one but nothing has really inspired me. I think I need a new show to watch.

Hmmm, I just wanted to mention that since we're talking about AMVs, [url]http://www.animemusicvideos.org[/url], although it requires that you download the video, there are even some AMV makers that resent YouTube because there are people taking credits for AMVs they made and that YouTube will compress the quality of AMVs that have and will have the AMV play out of sync. And as a sign how much AMV.org resents YouTube, on the forum there is a word filter for YouTube and it's "bootshack", if I recall correctly.

I've found stuff I've liked on YouTube that I don't think is on AMV.org though, though I guess I do feel bad that I'm not supporting AMV.org (well, I'm not a donator but since I prefer YouTube over AMV.org it's like I'm okay with an inferior product... ^^;;; 🙁 ). I do find some of the posters on the AMV.org forum maybe too hardcore in their AMV-making compared to YouTubers, or rather, that AMV-making is another full-time job for a person, but I've commented on some YouTube videos and then the person didn't like my comments so maybe then the person took it too personally (okay, one puts lots of work into an AMV probably just like a scanslation but still...) so the person even chose to delete my comment. Or one time I looked back at a video I commented on and the person added to the video notes "since somebody didn't like my video I'd like them to make a better one". 🤨 ... 😳

I wasn't a saint when I commented on either person's videos (I know there are people that didn't appreciate my comments on Bleach fansubs and one even posted on my profile's Comments section that he/she wanted me to like "shut the f=== up" or maybe it was a bit nicer with "stop writing these f===ing comments"...(well it was longer than that even with the I'm sorry, probably) and then said that he/she was sorry. If I hadn't accidentally deleted it, I would've shoved them at least a "you don't get to tell me off (publicly) like that and get away with it with an 'I'm sorry,' @$$hole" (since it was on my profile's Comments section and I don't get an alert when a person posts comments there. The person could've PMed me and I'd even see the message sooner if he/she had been thinking since I see those when I go to YouTube as long as I'm logged in. Maybe the person wasn't thinking because even though I may have done something rude, what he/she did might have been even ruder since it might be bullying or direct hate mail). And it'd be really weird if that person was a regular poster here too... >_> 🤣

But anyhow, now that I've written that I have to share some of my favourite videos (even though YouTube's quality is lacking due to compression even if the original was a HQ version...). 🤣 😳 I actually have about 10 playlists and probably even the AMV videos are probably about 500-some videos, not that I love them all (I'm probably really like 10% of them not for the songs that are used in the AMV).

And oh yeah, when checking out AMVs on YouTube I think people can have spoilers everywhere without being warned in the video comments, but even if the poster does warn about what spoilers are in the video, the video will play before one reads the comments now. 😲 I guess avoid anime that one hasn't watched 100% of if possible when one doesn't wants zero spoilers?

I've pretty much listed the ones that I remember off the top of my head, and I couldn't find this AMV which looks like it it was done with HQ footage (no subs, and it looked really good on YouTube) and had about 20 anime series in it, like Sailor Moon and YuYu Hakasho (I got spoiled by the ending--gah! 😲 Oh well, I wasn't going to watch about 100 episodes or even 50 for the guy and girl when the series wasn't about them, maybe...) and some old series. I'm certain that I had saved it to at least one of my playlists though since I searched for my link in there to download the video. @_@ It was done to "Come What May" that was sung by Ewan MaGregor and Nicole Kidman from the movie Moulin Rouge.

And since someone mentioned downloading the YouTube videos, I can't remember the one that I was originally using (it started with a "d") but here's a site to download the .flv file. http://www.keepvid.com/ I wish I could find a better player than RIVA FLV Player (no fast-forward and rewind and can only have 1:1 screen ratio) and Wimpy FLV Player (the playback seems screwed up, plus I also have to select the video I want to open with Open...[select file] instead of just double-clicking). But then again, if the file wasn't in .flv it'd probably so much better because then I wouldn't need a special video player and could just have them on a playlist on my computer. xD

but, yep, i got to second that. koopiskeva has some incredible ones. especially the one he made from rahxephon. i always wondered what software he used, all those effects
