It depends of the manga also I like them mostly when there is hints of something going on without the author elaborating on it. For me doujinshi are like fanfiction it's all about what we fan would want to see but don't get to see it!

I don't really have favorite characters, so if there's a sexual doujin, then it's just two random people to me, usually. I don't generally read those anyway.

There's only a few series I've liked enough to find doujins for, and they didn't appeal to me so much.

I can't draw either, so overall, I'm not a big fan.

Wow, only a few people like them (well, on this forum anyway), that's pretty sad because they are pretty good with the right artist and right the manga.

I was the same, didn't like them too much but this one To Aru Majutsu no Index doujinshi changed my mind completely and now i read them with every chance i get. It pretty cool to see the characters i have seen in mainstream manga and anime getting into lewd situations or the latter.

People should give them more of a chance, i bet you would find one u really like. 😀

I don´t read them, I readed only few, for fun, and I´m not going to add them to my list. I think it´s not manga.

Do you actually know, that it isn´t only fanfiction, but everything, that was self-published? eg.Haibane renmei is one too. I don´t have anything against this, didn´t read one throught. 😃
