its probably not an anime, it was probably one of those american made anime knock offs that are popular.

anyway, it was a miniseries, it aired around the time the cartoon "Batman beyond" started (so several years ago).

It was about this teenage guy who's parent(s) were aliens, but he didn't know about it(they died or never told him). In the movie he has to stop some kind of invasion.

What I remember most distinctly about it are a few things.

1. When an alien looks into another alien's eye the pupil dialates and stuff (its like a greeting?)

2. the teenager protagonist gets this glove (that his father left behind?) and it gives him powers(probably telekenisis), in one part of the movie/miniseries it lets him fly a ship. Also hes the only one who can use it, if someone else tries to put on the glove and use it, it breaks their hand.

3. the bad guy aliens have these alien dog things that are really vicious. and their base is under ground.
