This poll is about the choice between turning a manga into a live-action drama, an anime, or leaving it as is

I picked "stay as manga". I don't care for dramas, and I only watch anime that is NOT adapted from a manga.

For slice-of-life series, I prefer live-action adaptations.

For fantasy series, I don't want an adaptation at all.

I don't mind seeing mangas being adapted as drama or anime. As long as the manga is good, I would be glad to see them adapted as either of them.

I frankly prefer adaptations to anime over live action but only if they stay true to the manga.

If like some series, I'd like to see more of it, but definitely no live-action movies! Therefore, anime.

If the drama is something viciously epic like Ping Pong, or Tennen Kokekko, then definitely the live-action. But movies aren't an option on this poll it seems?

I don't really watch/care about dramas so I wouldn't know.

However, I like it when manga I like gets adapted into anime.
Even if the anime unfortunately turns out to suck, it has the side effect of making the manga waaaaay more popular. When the manga becomes more popular there's lots of fan art and people to talk with about it. Also, the manga sells more tanks so the mangaka can get more money for their hard work and thus write more manga.

I've never really been into dramas, whichever language they're in. There's also a part of manga that I feel just can't be captured with live-action acting.

But on the other hand, I am addicted to voice acting. I just think it's amazing the way people portray emotions with just thier voices. My opinion of an anime can be greatly increased if the voice acting is good.

Not that live action acting doesn't impress me, far from it. I'm actually a drama geek 😛 I just don't think it fits manga. In general anyway, there might be a real gem that I haven't seen out there....

Some manga just need anime adaptations. Just like K-ON. Who would read the manga if not for the anime? Take me for example. I tried K-ON, but felt it went too slowly on black and white. Then I watched the anime, and it was much better and more lively. Now I read the manga for new releases to follow the story.
