We all love our heros in manga (or not, depending on our taste), but I'm curious, does anyone here a favourite antogonist that you're supposed to hate, but have ended up liking instead? it's happened to me a few times (just can't remember which one it was, will update the post later), where I like the hateful character just as much as the good one.

anyway, whats your favorite? it can be from any genre and for whatever reason.

Itachi from Naruto? I don't really have to say why but in a few words, He.Is.Freaking.Awesome =)

The Commander from hell who can turn dry ice to dark mist Hiruma Youichi from Eyeshield21...Reason? He's EVIL. 🤣

I was a big fan of Kenpachi from Bleach when he fought Ichigo. Not sure if he still counts as a villain though cuz he switched sides and all that.

Also really like Captain Buggy de One Piece. He's awesome.

And the ninja from Basilisk that can go inside walls. Can't member his name and not sure he counts as bad cuz there wasn't really a defined good or bad person in that Manga as far as I could tell.

Life is tough......but it's tougher if you're stupid.

Off the top of my head i'd say Griffith

Gaou from Eyeshield 21 and Yujiro Hanma from Grappler Baki are two big contenders. Itachi was already mentioned but he is amazing as well.

My favourite bad antagonist would be ... drums rolling

Tyki Mikk from D.Gray Man.

Simply because he is uber cool. He has a good side and a bad side. His good side is foolish and his bad side is ... just bad. LOL.
