I haven't watched the anime but i have watched the Live Action. Is anyone here knows the difference between the two? IF the Live Action followed the manga where do i start reading if i finished the Live Action series? Can someone enlighten me with this one? Hope to hear a response soon. Thank You!

i've watched the whole anime and am halfway through the drama....

my opinion? both of them are excellent....

1) ANIME
well, its anime lol, the comedy is a lot more funnier in cartoon form because they can add silly effects and silly expressions that you just can't do in real life! it seems more realistic and believable and the OP and ED are awesome...it also has a little different story.....actually you can't even count it....just little things here and there that they changed that have nothing really to do with the main storyline

2)LIVE ACTION
ok......chiaki is SO HOT in the live action <3.....and the actors are very well suited for the characters in the story....they all acted amazingly in comparison to some other live actions that i have seen...obviously everything is real here, so sometimes the graphics/things they do isn't really all that believeable....but still its real funny and they've done a great job....since its a live action then the music sounds 10x's better than it did in the anime

i read here on the site that the anime stops at around v9 in the manga...im getting that volume as we speak...cant wait to see what happens to Nodame x Chiaki =)

...hope that helped confused

I forgot which volume of the manga to start at after finishing the live action drama but I personally recommend starting the manga from the beginning simply because the manga is not the least bit boring. The live action drama got me to start the manga but after watching the live action I flipped through the manga with ease and absolutely no boredom at all, well worth reading since it adds more depth to the characters.
