well, i tried looking here in the forums but i can't find any. so let me start this thread...
The point is: what is the most unbelievable scenes for you in the manga one piece? not the anime please...
When we say unbelievable scenes, its a scene where you would say, WOW, it's unbelievable....its a scene that would make you say that "that character was so great or something"...
Let me give you a sample:
during the Eisen Lobby arc, when Spandam was tauting Robin saying that Luffy will soon be captured by his 10,000 troops, only to hear the reports from den den mushi. here's the exact words:
the soldiers we've lost so far amount to over two thousand! at least a thousand of those were taken out by the captain "straw hat luffy" who's gone missing.... even spandam was shock in wonder...
also when
all the straw hat crews, except robin, was standing in line in enies lobby and sogeking hit the world flag square
so, how about you? which of the scenes in one piece amaze you over and over again?
take note, it can be any character, even if its a villain..

There are too many moments to list (Especially seeing how some of them require you to search through chapters that you haven't read in a while), but I'll list the ones that I can think off the top of my head
- The one that you mentioned here
Quote from genre001
all the straw hat crews, except robin, was standing in line in enies lobby and sogeking hit the world flag square
2)When Luffy slammed Arlong all the way through Arlong Park Tower
-
The fact that Crocodile successfully manipulated an entire country into praising him, and would've actually succeeded in doing it had it not been for people acting on their assumptions
-
Dr. Hiluluk's final speech (One of the very few things I liked in the Drum Island arc)
-
When Mr. 2 sacrificed himself so that everyone else with Luffy could escape Impel Down
-
Whitebeard's death scene where it's shown how he died standing up and all of the statistics of what happened to him during the Marineford arc.

Just because someone's head was chopped off doesn't mean they're dead. That's just silly.

Those are great. I couldn't believe when Ace got killed after all of the fighting and deaths to save him.

Thought of another example.
When Kuma successfully defeated the Straw Hats. Sure they were all still recovering from Thriller Bark, but to get rid of all of them that easily is no small feat.

I liked these scenes:
When they were first going to sky island, Luffy was asked where the crew was going to go and he pointed up, "To Sky Island." I don't know why, but I think it was a great scene.
The fight against Crocodile was pretty cool when Luffy started using his blood instead of water to make sure Crocodile turn to sand.
When Chopper went into Monster Point for the first time, I thought it was great.
I loved the second part of breaking out of Impel Down. Buggy and Mr. 3 created a riot while Luffy and company were kicking ass on another floor.
Besides those, I would have to agree with lossecannon504.

-Like loosecannon504 and genre001 said, Usopp/Sogeking shooting down the world government per Luffy's orders and the whole Strawhats vs. CP9 standoff was pretty awesome.
-The first chapter had a couple: when Lucky Roo (the fat guy always seen eating some meat) shot the bandit in the head and when Shanks lost his arm saving Luffy. Helped show that while the series has plenty of comedic scenes, the serious ones are there as well.
-This scene during the Arlong Park arc, with Luffy putting his hat on Nami's head. Given how much he loves that hat, it was cool how he was willing to let Nami wear it.
-The Crocodile arc, when Pell took the bomb into the air as it was about to explode...
At the time, I thought it was easily one of the best scenes in the series, with Oda having someone sacrifice their life for the peace Vivi strived for. Then it kind of got ruined when Pell ended up surviving X_X.

One Piece is my favourite manga so there are soooo many. Here's one of the top of my head:
The chapters telling the story that took place 400 years ago on java (?) island (now part of Sky Island) and the story of the two heroes (don't remember their names). Especially the scene where the explorer is trapped due to a landslide and the hero of the tribe kills the snake and says something like
Hero: What did I just kill?
Explorer: A snake.
Hero: Wrong. I just killed a 'God', which you call a 'Snake'. My people are suffering from a 'Curse', which you call a 'Disease'. cries Can you really save my people?
And the final chapter of what happened to the two of them. That was awesome.
Oh, and I was just rereading the part where zoro and usopp are facing CP9 and just unlocked the handcuffs. Usopp's opponent starts to compare Usopp to a 'sheep' that is now vulnerable to the 'wolf' after leaving the 'shepherd'. Then Sanji comes in and, when asked who he is, replies "The Hunter".

In the Arlong Arc, when just after he outs his hat on her head and starts to walk the other three are waitning there, and the next square with luffy saying "Let's Go".
If you want to succeed
Then you don't need Good Luck
You need the ability to overcome Bad Luck
Happines and Light needs a source to exist
Hatred fuels itself and Darkness exist where there is no Light

The same thing happens when Perona's 'Negative Ghost' attack doesn't do shit against Usopp because he's already negative.
Unbelievable?
Ace's death. I didnt think Oda would have the guts to kill off a popular character like that. I guess it was all right because Law showed up right after that and got Luffy away. Shit, Law is the best character 🙂

That shows how strong Kuma is. I think that he is easily the strongest Shichibukai that we have seen.

One Piece is full of them. I'm gonna try to go in chronological order.
-Arlong arc: When Nami finally asks Luffy to help her. Everything from the time he puts his hat on Nami to the time he punches Arlong. Loved every second of that.
-Alabasta arc: Pell flying to bomb out of the capital, but like someone said earlier, it was kind of ruined with Pell surviving.
-Also, Luffy's finishing blow on Crocodile. Punching him through the bedrock. I think that was moment when One Piece went from being just another good manga to being one of the best, in my eyes.
-Skypeia arc: Luffy's first encounter with Enel. Priceless scene.
-Enies Lobby arc: When Luffy and crew are facing down CP9 and Luffy tells Sogeking to shoot the flag. At that point, I knew things were gonna go down, not just in the imminent future, but later in the manga, too.
-Marineford arc: Everything. Yea, I know, that's weak, but that's how I felt about it. Everything from the revelation of Ace's father to the first non-flashback death in the series (boy was it a big one). Marineford is the best story arc I have ever read in any manga.

Simply orgasmic! I love that scene!
