Well, everyone's heard of the whole CMX tragedy already, but... What's going to happen to an excellent series like Apothecarius Argentum? Does that mean we can't expect any more licensed releases?

I'm not so worried about my other favorite CMX projects, like From Eroica With Love and Two Flowers For the Dragon, because scanlation groups have already claimed those and are churning out releases (good on them!).

But I'm very, VERY worried about this newly-orphaned series...

Does anyone know if any other publishing company is going to take over releasing official English versions of Apothecarius Argentum, or if there's a scanlation group that has indicated any interest in stepping in?

And even if you don't know, lol, at least come and commiserate with me.

I doubt another company will pick up the license... but I am hoping someone will be willing to scanlate it! Actually, I'm scanning RAWs of the last 3 volumes right now (It is complete with Volume 11) and then I'll be poking around trying to convince someone to work on it I'll PM you in a week or two when I'm done to let you know where you can check out the RAWs, if you are interested.

I am praying to every god there IS (and possibly some that aren't) that this gets picked up by another company. 'Cause it just ain't RIGHT to leave such a brilliant manga unfinished.

Hello, does anyone know if the last volume will be translated?? I really want to start reading this manga but I can't stand not being able to read the end because it's not been translated.

Any luck with any groups?
