I just finished reading Hana no Namae and I really liked it.

Does anyone know a similar setting with the roles switched? Something like an emotionally unstable woman (older than him) and a younger guy who's "saving" her from despair?

why does it alway have to be the girl saving the man?

LOL no that's not true. There are actually many examples of the girl being lost and the guy saving her.

When you write tragic romance do you mean tragic but ends good or just tragic romance?

Snow Queen (korean)
It's about a rich girl who lost her mother and she's sick too, she's just wants to die. Thus she meets a hottie and falls for him and he for her....

Hyakunen renbo (japanese)
Girl is a witch and hated by the whole world for having black hair and being a witch. Insert a prince who looks like her former love whoto got sick and hated her for the rest of his life after he found out she was a witch. Girl dun want to live with humans anymore...

Shinobi life:
Rich girl who is tired of killers coming to kill or kidnap her all the time....meets a ninja from the past who starts to protect her from killers and loneliness.

Variante:
Girl's family gets killed in front of her by a huge disgusting monster. She faints and wake up with a right arm that's exactly like the monster...She's crushed about life and goes down...totally when she loses something that may have helped her back. Insert a cop who works as her guardian/keeper and one who drags her out of her misery

That should be enough for now XD

thanks for your answer, but it seems that are still typical shoujo scenarios (young girl saved by some dude).

What I'm looking for is something more serious and with an age gap (maybe seinen) - the female several years older than him (being a woman, not a small girl).

And when I say tragic I prefer tragic but ends good but a good "tragic only" is also ok.

Sorry that I didn't point that out earlier.
