Describe how you got into trouble because of reading manga

For me, just oversleeping because of late-night reading... I remember finishing Death Note at 4 AM. Just couldn't put it down!

None of the listed ones, maybe other, still I can't think of any trouble I had because of manga.

Heh heh, parents are mad at me~ And i mght have gotten a virus, but forget xD BUt f I were to be honest, I think manga reading did more good then harm 😉 Since reading manga, my average has gone from a 58% to a 79% academically, and I'm... more emotionally stable? Or at least I'm more happy then sad xD

It's been 5 years since I've been hooked and she still gives a look of disdain when she walks into my room and sees something manga/anime related on my computer screen.
Actually, make that anything un-related to work and she's unhappy XD

Nah, she just doesn't like the fact that I spend so much time on the computer. Manga and anime are partly to blame for this, so I can see why she disapproves.

I use to get in trouble for hogging the computer. Would stay on to read manga for more then 12+ hours XD

Only got up to grab something to eat, drink, or if I really had to go to the bathroom.

Now I'm in school and have my own laptop so I can't really do that anymore D:

I wish there was a "lack of sleep, can't function the next day" option...

Combining with school work (and finals!) and finishing up a series, I say - I only get 4 hours of rest.

For now I don't have any problems, but back in 2008 I used to suffer from the "Overslept because of late-night reading " option. It was only some of the time, but when it happened it was BAD. Like "Stay up until the sun comes up, and then keep going for another hour or two" bad.

Never had a single problem, but that may be because I never start reading a longer series when I have something to do within a few days.

Overslept is the only one I've had a real problem with.
It hasn't happened lately, but I used to find new series on schoolnights and then read them until 4 in the morning. I have to wake up at 6.
So, it could get me into trouble occasionally.

overslept, used a lot of money, my parents mad, they thought my grades dropped because manga and threw them away (when i was 7 years old).
