Release frequency!

I just had an idea. After following... countless series, I've always found myself Googling how often a certain publisher releases a certain series. Unfortunately, I typically can't find squat. Something that you could show is how frequent certain series pop up in certain publications using what you know from past releases. I'm having trouble putting it into words, but just point out if the publisher is a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc. and then how often a certain series shows up in that period. So something like Weekly Shounen Jump would obviously be weekly and titles such as Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece would be weekly, whereas another series in the same publication (Claymore, for example) is a monthly (?) release. Now, I'm not sure if my examples are correct, but I think you get the general idea. That way, idiots like me can know when to expect another chapter while maximizing laziness. 😛
Now, back to reading and completely forgetting that I posted this!

If a profile page were made for each magazine, release frequency would be one of the things that would probably be put on it.
Anyway, the only English website I know of that keeps that information is called Comipedia (actually, I only found out about it a few days ago). Alternatively, if it's a series for which scanlations are up-to-date, you could look at the release history to find out how often releases come out, and then use that to determine the date of the next release.

Unfortunately, I feel this would be detrimental because once people see the release frequency, they have an expectation on the scanlators to release a chapter by a certain time
