I didnt see a post about this topic ,please correct me if there is one but...
Do you like them? Im just asking because recently Im spending all my time watching a bunch of asian boybands' music videos, reading character profiles, and browsing through pictures, embarassingly enough... but I dont know what the people on this site think of them. And if you [dis]like them, do you [dis]like some more than others? I really like SHINee and Super Junior, but I think Super Junior has too many people in it...
If youre going to hate on them, can you please keep it short? Its annoying when people write whole paragraphs about things as simple as " Do you like them?"...

i like them. SHINee is my favorite band ^^. I feel that in general they are very talented because of their many years of training. I do like some more than others based on the sound of the music they produce but thats really it.

Arashi's also okay but I haven't heard too many of their songs.
Can't believe I almost forgot to say SHINee.

My favorite groups right now are B1A4, Boyfriend, Big Bang, and Shinee.
B1A4 and Boyfriend are new this year but I love there songs
~~
But yeah I get what you mean, it's just too much.
For example, Girls Generation.
Spoiler (mouse over to view) 9 members.
Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun.
Most hated: Tiffany, my gosh girl will you please at your age!
Now compare that to a regular sized girl group... such as
Flower X or f(x)

Victoria, Amber, Luna, Sulli and Krystal.
Unlike Girls' Generation each one of these girls had there own flare. They don't blend in behind one over powering leader. Though f(x) had a bit of an over powering leader, they each have personalities.
I don't get Super Junior and Super Junior M is a disappointment to me. The only song I can withstand is Super Junior M's Perfection.

I've mostly listened to J-pop; I think I like a song or two from most of the J-pop boybands I've heard, but the only one I really love is Arashi~~ <3 Love their music, and their tv shows are really funny (and give me more reason to work on learning Japanese).
I like Tokio too, but don't know much about most of the rest (nothing at all about K-pop groups), and I agree that groups with 6-8-10+ members are just too much.
Anyone who says it's fluff - yeah, some of it is, so what? Anything that makes me grin & laugh as much as Arashi does can't be a bad thing!

I only like Big Bang, U-KISS, and SS501.
The others are fine, but I don't really listen to them that often compared to these three. I personally have never listened to any Japanese boybands, but I think I might look some up, particularly Arashi.
