Personally, I've never read any.

But from the glances that I've seen, the artists tend to use their own interesting art styles, and things tend to be in color

Question: Opinion on webcomics
Choices:
Have never read any - votes: 2000 (16.1%)
Like them in general - votes: 6996 (56.5%)
No opinion - votes: 2166 (17.5%)
Don't like them in general - votes: 1226 (9.9%)
There were 12388 total votes.
The poll ended: July 16th 2011

I used to read quite a few back in the day. They were english ones, with some titles I remember like Inverloch, Blackbird, WhoGirl, and such. They were really good webcomics. The only problem was that some artists never really got around to finishing them. So it would be a really really good series on hiatus for years on end. But I like and support webcomics. One of my long running favorites is Gunnerkrigg court.

I never thought I would like manga in color (funny since I use to read asterix/tintin and a few others as a kid), but I like the layout, big panels, and story. My preferred ones right now are: noblesse, green boy, orange marmalade, Gyon-Woo & Jik-Nyu, kisswood, song of the cloud, serendipity. I find it a good change from regular manga.

Oooh... You guys are talking about non-english webcomics... I generally don't like the non-english ones with a few exceptions, but the daily english ones like Cyanide and Happiness are awesome. It's ironic how I prefer manga over english comics but when it comes to webcomics, I like the english ones a lot more 🤣

Webcomics can be a lot of fun

For example, Noblesse is a really fun and high quality Korean webcomic(and is one of my favorite series of all time)

Then, of course, the English language sites also have a lot of great webcomics as well (most recently introduced to me-- Trigger Star [the full title is way too long])

I enjoy reading webcomics-partly because it's free to read, but also because there are a few good ones that are both original and of higher quality.

Personally, there a great alternative for those who are tired of reading overrated comics.

I like to read them O: There are some pretty good English ones like Land of Lions, MYth: A Promise, Mokepon and etc. Some of my favorite Korean ones are Orange Marmalade, TTTC, and Crepuscule. Don't think I've ever read any Japanese ones before...

Meh.. For me it's just like any other reading material.. There's good and there's bad, it depends on the talent of the writer, and in this case also his art skills. Not sure what to vote for since I don't like just putting it all in one group.. It's like saying manga is good or bad in general when there's so much crap and so much great writing in it... >.<;;

Love them! I like them more then manga. I think it's the art for me; I get tired to seeing the same style all the time and webcomics give me a refreshing change. And I do like a western style more then anime style anywho. My problem now, is that I read, like, 50 of them and can't keep track of them all. Shame there isn't a nifty tracking site like MU for webcomics. lol

I like a few touhou webcomics but thats about it
i guess its bcoz i was a huge fan some years back

i cant stand noblesse and that kind of webcomics
the art is bad and its usualy boring
reusing lots and lots of the same drawings, bad backgrounds[often just a singel color of blue, gray or black],takes 200chapters for the smallest thing to happen
and i am not sure but all the korean webcomic artists[atleast the big ones] feels like factory kind of products...
they feel like they are backed up and on a mission and if thats the case...they dont really deserve the attention

but thats just me i guess

its funny how no dan kim fanatic is out here screaming how awesome dan kim is lol
[i kind of like his Nana's Everyday Life]
